"Went through Warranty and scheduled to have shower fixed in upstairs bathroom. Technician stopped the leak but needed to order parts to fix. 4 weeks later and still waiting on parts. No calls or updates given by company. Each time I call they still tell me waiting on parts. A month is a long time to go without a shower and they still have not fixed it. Technician went out of his way to fix the shower. When they were able to come out they did a great job."
"DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE USING AHS. Technician came in and stated he was going to call tech support and figure out what needs to be done. Cool no biggie. Tech spends a whole 10 minutes checking out my water heater before packing up and telling me that they need to order a part and heading out. 2 days later get a notice that the service has been completed and to please write a review. Company is garbage."
"I rarely leave reviews but I had to for this one. I use warranty a company for my rental props. This company was referred to me to diagnose the water heater at 1 of the properties. They said that it needed to be replaced. I was fine with the replacement until they quoted me the additional parts needed and pricing for them. About 6 items, the 1st item they quoted me was "$195 for a shut off valve". I have been buying real estate for about 15 years so I'm familiar with purchasing appliances and parts. I know that a water heater shut off valve doesn't cost more than maybe 40 bucks and $40 is pushing it. The other 5 items had this same gouge. Being in business I understand that a company has to make money so I was still willing to go through with the replacement believe it or not. However, I decided to make a trip from FL to MD to give a look at the water heater in person before finalizing the replacement. When we arrived, we saw that the water had no power, so what is the 1st thing you do when something has no power? You check the breaker box, sure enough upon checking, the water heater switch was tripped. I thought to myself "there's no way"....right? Waited with the tenants a couple hours to see if the hot water would start to work again and asked if they had plugged anything into the outlet wall on the same breaker. They said they did plug something in which explains the tripped breaker...also, guess what? The hot water starts working again. To confirm I double back the next couple days to check the hot water and its working. I am asking myself, did the tech from this company even do the basic protocol of checking the breaker box which is in the room right next to the water heater location? Or was this a business making attempt? IMO this was just a bad experience for me with this company. I had to travel hundreds of miles just to turn on a switch. It has damaged my trust with relying on what they are telling a customer in myself (former customer). I wonder about people that don't have real estate experience. (Sigh) That's all"
"I needed service to replace my water heater and have a home warranty through a company that uses Mayes Plumbing. John and Foster were my technicians. John was very knowledgeable and professional and took the time to answer my questions. The work was completed within the time John stated and they both took special care to leave the area clean and in good condition. I really appreciated their time and expertise and would definitely recommend them again."
"I needed service for a leaking pipe & have a home warranty through a company that uses Mayes Plumbing. They scheduled my service for the next day and gave several reminder texts. My original window was 10-3 but they arrived closer to 4 and called to let me know they were at my home. John and Foster were my technicians. John was very knowledgeable and professional. The work order was done quickly & I would recommend them again."
