"Sanmann Kennels has been "home away from home" for our various dogs since 1991. Prefer Sanmann over many others tried. When my husband and I first moved to the area in 1990, we placed our golden retriever, Kate, in different kennels. She came home stressed and unhappy or, in the worst situation, ill. Then we found Sanmann. She was a happy, healthy girl on every stay. Used them since for our next four goldens - all with good result."

"We have been boarding our dogs here for years. About once a year we go on a long trip (such as Australia 3 weeks, South Africa 2 weeks) but we never worry when we know that our dogs are in the hands of such caring people. They make sure to give them exactly the right amount of food (one of our dogs easily can put on weight) and they are happy to board them together to make sure they are happy during their stay. We like to say that Sanmann Kennels is the vacation for our adorable dogs because they are so happy to return where "the cute girls" are going to give them so much love and attention. "Used this place twice for my dog. The last time we picked him up we were met by a lady saying our dog was a "wacko". When asked what happened we were told our pup stayed in the back of his kennel and was growling at everyone. He was stressed and upset at the experience and people. Instead of calling and letting us know(we would have picked him up) they let him stay in his kennel the whole time we were away. Not even going out to use the bathroom. Seems like they cared about the money over the health of our dog. When asked if he was this way before we were told yes witch is not the same story they gave us last time. If I had known this the first time I would not have brought him back again! Point is communication sucked between the kennel and us as costumers. We were not told important information. I wont take my dog back here, I can only imagine how they treated him considering how easy it was for them to bad talk him in front of us."
