"First the service is amazing. The hotel is chock full of ambience. There are lots of little extra thoughtful touches, like a cozy sitting area with fireplace, books to borrow, snacks and fuzzy bathrobes The decor is tasteful and updated. The room is super clean. So why 4 stars? We couldn’t sleep because of the light from the heater/AC unit near the ceiling— directly in the line of vision and bright yellow light. Also no coffee maker in room or sitting area so we had to wait until our scheduled breakfast. Im a self-admitted coffee addict who needs coffee first thing in the morning… If these two issues could be fixed, I’d give this hotel 5+!!"
"Did the "dinner and a show" thing here with the restaurant and nearby theater (review, seperate). 1st off, our server was AMAZING! Total shout-out to Victoria! Smiling and enthuiastic, and genuine. The whole place is charming, inside and out. It is split up into several connected rooms, so that nomatter where you sit, it doesn't feel overcrowded or too busy. The food was phenomenal! Presentation, flavor profiles, all top-notch. Great beer and wine selections. Very happy with dinner, and then walking a few steps over to the theater for a great show topped that off perfectly for the win!"
"Stayed in this hotel before watching a show at the Theatre next door. We had dinner at their restaurant which had gourmet class food and fantastic service from Victoria, our server, who was very polite and did not rush us that we almost felt we were back in Europe . Had the duck breast which was perfectly done and the wine was exquisite! Will definitely come back here after our South East Asian Trip this year!"
"The place itself is dated at best and not in a charming way. The waitress was very nice and anything she did know she went to find out. I was disappointed in the food. I was there once before for an event and found it to be ok. The soup was salty to the point of almost inedible. My salad, while good, had odd, applesauce like dressing on it. My husband had very lackluster pappardelle. My drink and our friends' drinks were made incorrectly. The coffee was very weak to my taste. I had been looking forward to dessert as they are all made on premises. My pecan cheesecake in chocolate fudge was drowning in sauce with very little cheesecake. It's just a disappointing meal, not a bad one. Then the bill hits you, and you realize that the meal you had was not worth what you paid."
"Very cozy dining room, food was well prepared and service was nice and efficient despite it being a busy Saturday evening. It is a bit noisy, maybe because we were next to the kitchen and there was a large party event in the room next to us Still, the food is worth the trip. Quality and quantity are both satisfactory, you can taste that everything is home made and on demand. If you are in a rush or a stressed customer, this is not the place you want to go, at least not on that kind of evening. But guess what, good food takes time to be prepared."
