"One point to note: number is to a call center that contracts with repair people. That's why it's 24/7. My response with the call center was actually pleasant, and they scheduled a repair appointment right away. The problem was the repairman with whom they contracted. The repairman called before even coming out to our home, saying that we needed a specific part repaired. He had not even stepped foot in the house, let alone looked at the washer. He was incredibly consescending, and wouldn't answer our questions. For the sake of Thurmont Appliance Repair, I hope that they stop contracting this jackass. We cancelled our appointment immediately: we aren't going to trust a so-called "repariman" who won't even look at the appliance before suggesting a costly repair. UPDATE: Friends recommended a repair company in Frederick County that rhymes with "Bike's Applianses". They were prompt, professional, and fixed the problem in less than an hour, a problem that was NOT the one the "repairman" sent from these people was insisting on sight unseen. Don't waste time or money on Thurmont Appliance Repair: use "Bike's"."
