"I am so happy Carroll County has this hidden gem in Historic Sykesville that draws well-known people/authors to talk. I've seen Nicholas Sparks, and James Patterson with Eric Lupica (John Stamos sold out before I could order tickets, yet I was able to order an Autographed book to pick up later). So, when my 4 year old grandson came to visit, we stopped in and it was like I was a kid again looking through the books and toys throughout the store with him. I love the welcoming feel and choices the owner makes. It's a small town charming store with big city inventory! It's worth a visit for sure, just make sure you don't have anywhere else to be right away, you can lose track of time!"

"Such a cool store! My four year old and I walked in and were welcomed by the bookworm on the front door. The store itself is full of amazing books. There's a really well stocked children's section in the back. We came for the books and stayed for the giggles. There were very nice ladies in the front helping us and making us feel comfortable.
