"Their return policy is a lie. They only give store credit, even if you just bought something that day, so you can never get your money back. They advertise a return policy, but store credit is obviously not a return, it's an exchange."
"Hello! I wanted to take a second to thank Steve at the drop-off dock. My daughter and I dropped off a truck load of donations and he was so friendly and courteous. My family and I normally go to the GW in Westminster, but I certain we will start coming to Eldersburg more often. Thank you Steve for all of your help today!"
"All Goodwill inventory will vary per location and season. This location was ok. It was a bit small, but the store itself is clean and well organized. The wife just ended up getting some holiday stuff and shoes for kids."
"Large, bright, clean space. Items nicely organized and large selection of goods. Clothing organized by color AND size. Public restrooms available. BUT -- be careful how the pricetag barb was put into the fabric. I had two silky scarves pierced right through the center of the fabric in numerous placs causing holes noticed only after arriving home. The prices of used clothing and accessories is too high. Then, when asked to please wrap glass items, the checkout staff used the clothes and scarves -- that was not appreciated. Staff polite but unfriendly."
"This is a pretty good Goodwill! It's clean and well organized. I've been trying to buy used (as opposed to new) as a way to be more environmentally friendly. This store is a good place to do that. If I'm patient and persistent, I can often find the thing I need. Not to mention the savings by buying pre-owned. It's also just fun to browse and stumble upon a gem. Also, did you know that you can donate worn out clothing and they will recycle it?! Edit: In response to the person who said that they can sometimes find things for less at Walmart, there's a reason for that - one being that many things at Walmart are not made to last. You may spend less one time, but you'll be going back to replace that item again soon. One thing I like about Goodwill is that you can find well-made items at a great price. I've seen Eddie Bauer, Patagonia, Underarmour, etc. I attached a couple photos of some of my favorite finds, all of which would originally cost a lot more than the $5 (shoes) - $25 (couch) I paid for it. In the living room photo, both the side table and couch are from Goodwill."
