"If I could give 10 stars I would. When you walk in that first time, maybe a little scared and unsure you are treated with respect. You are never a price tag, you're always a person. I've watched my very difficult child with ADHD and Autism become confident, respectful, resilient over the last 6 months as a Ninja Shark. As my child's behaviors were escalating I reached out to Mr. Angelo and Ms. Cherri. I was met with respect, understanding, encouragement and support on all fronts. We formulated a plan and went from there. I was reassured that it takes a village and they are happy to be a part of our village. After 6 months of watching the Ninjas I decided to enroll in the adult classes. Best decision I've made in a while!!! It is a come as you are, accommodating, encouraging, supportive, safe and fun environment. It is truly a judgement free zone, where everyone in the class helps each other succeed. As a white belt I'm constantly being helped by higher belts. And it is always a positive experience. Mr. Angelo, Ms.Cherri and all the instructors are genuine and consistent. They are the same on the mat as they are talking to you 1 on 1. They are down to earth, realistic and very approachable. I've had my other children with me while watching Ninja class. Sometimes they can be disruptive during Ninja class and we are always met with grace and patience when this happens. Also they usually have a few fun events every month, all optional but always fun. It is truly unlike any environment I've ever been in before. My family and I love this wonderful group!!!!"

"My daughter started taking lessons at AKT when she was 5 and is now almost 9 and about to test for her junior black belt. She has really enjoyed her time learning martial arts and making new friends. Karate has helped her gain confidence and shown her how to set goals and take realistic steps to achieve them.
