"The first thing you should know is that Produce Junction is cash only. No checks or credit cards accepted. UPDATED April 26. Found out that PJ is now accepting all credit cards except for American Express. The store is brightly lit and seems clean enough. I do find the layout to be a bit chaotic, but easily negotiable. Some items (fruits and veg) are behind the checkout counter so if you cannot find something like onions or potatoes be sure to look behind the checkout because there are quite a few items there. If you are going to buy fruit and it is behind the counter it must be paid for separately. I find this mildly inconvenient as I do not want to stand in two lines in order to checkout twice. I love the prices of the items for sale though. For quantity you can’t beat Produce Junction. I have found the quality to be good as well overall. They have a nice cross cultural selection of vegetables and fruit as well (Latino, Asian, Indian, etc.) They also sell flowers and flats of flowers and plants with really great prices on them as well as cut flowers and bouquets. They have a covered garden center as well. I cannot review quality of the plants as I have never purchased any, but visually they appear healthy and insect free with lots of variety. The people that work there are pleasant and helpful. They employ both English or Spanish speaking persons. Overall I would recommend Produce Junction."
