"Went to the store at 8:48 pm tonight and the doors were locked already. Employees inside waved us off and wouldnt let me and my kids into store."
"I went to another family dollar before coming here but they didn’t hv the size diapers I was looking for. This family dollar was recommended because their shelves are stocked. They were stocked but did not have the size diapers but I purchased a few things I needed. But the customer service was horrible. At lease the other family dollar service worker was pleasant. I understand we all hv tough long days and we want to go home but customer service is very important. It’s not always about the nice area it’s the people that makes our community and society better. I hope she have a better night and get better training or switch her field. I will not be going back."
"They're always under staffed and the store looks like a disaster! I have visited family dollar stores in Florida and the stores are all messy, to much stock carts and boxes thru out the stores! Seems to be typical of FD to operate this way. I get worked up with anxiety when I know I'm headed to shop their stores. The #1 reason I shopped FD was bc the prices were less than the large chain stores. The last few times I've shopped there the prices have gone up, so I don't see the benefits of shopping there stores much lately! Do some revamping of your stores and staff pay maybe they will bring in a different level of responsibility reliability, respect and most importantly Loyalty!"
"I generally appreciate Family Dollar stores for what they are. I fully understand that they are a discount store and have a unique product set and I don't necessarily expect a five-star customer experience, however I have to speak up after my most recent visit. The store was in *terrible* shape. There was inventory everywhere, things half opened, shelves not stocked, dirty floors, etc. It's as if they have completely given up. Very disappointing and unacceptable as a place to spend money, honestly. The cashier who checked me out was actively holding a phone conversation while doing so and it certainly felt as if I was an interruption to her day. Family Dollar must step it up in order to continue being a viable option in this community."
