"Sean M. fixed my downspout gutter connection today. Super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I wish there was a way to prepay for a block of 40 hours with Ace Handyman and then deduct for each service performed. Almost like a membership where the folks who prepay don’t pay the $75 service charge. The best way to work with Ace I am thinking is to get a person for a whole day and have a list of fixes needed. If you have a quick 1hour fix you will still pay the min 2.5 hour charge. Great experience with Sean and would recommend!"

"We had doors that needed repairs and replaced and called ACE Handyman for service. They gave me a window of 2-3pm. Ben showed up at 2:15, and went straight to work. He was able to fix the doors in about 20 minutes. Ben is very knowledgeable and efficient but most importantly, he is friendly and personal. "UPDATE: The Ace Handyman team and Jeff took our concerns very serious, they reached out, and resolved the situation. Given that and their friendliness, I would trust them in the homes of friends and family members. No one person or business is perfect, but by their actions, they strive to do right by their customers and take their sevice and reputation seriously. We will be using them again and hope you give them a chance as well! -------- -------- -------- -------- INITIAL: The technician was very polite, a pleasure to work with. Would have him back! The guidance we recieved from our initial call with the owner did not include offering consultation service to see/ understand the issues beforehand. So, agreed to a time and price we thought would fix our large issues but spent much time finding out 2 of our biggest issues weren't fixable in the originally quoted time. We paid over $400 for a fixed fence latch, a tweaked window, and time spent going to/ from hardware store. We didn't have our banister fixed nor was the lock issue b/c the technician forgot their allen wrench. In other words, ancillary small things were done but now we have to pay more for even longer hours of work to get our primary issues fixed. We wouldn't have paid $400 for these little things had we know before. One of the issues (the door lock) should be fixed on Ace since the screw wasn't purchased during the store trip. Nice, kind people, but not the best first experience for the price point."

"Arrived on time and was asked to repair a door jamb with PVC where rotten wood was. Not sure he had all the correct materials but he did ok for what he had. The resulting job does not match up with the existing door jamb so maybe this job was a bit out of his range. So as a result another problem has been created that wasn’t there before. The weatherstripping is not able to seal the door. Also did not get quoted the $60 service fee when I booked the job over the phone. Use them again or recommend? Maybe."
