"Between losing my held mail and locking the doors 10 minutes early today, I'm pretty disappointed in Frostburg post office. If you want to close at 11:50, change your posted hours! Pretty disappointing when you leave work early to send out important certified mail but the cashier has already locked the inner lobby door and is finishing counting her drawer already, and it's still only 10 til!"
"I am disabled and after 3 yrs of my letter from the doctor lying in yhere i decided to call someone after trying in ice and snow that is supposed to be removedby maintenance. They finslly said they would deliver my mail to my box by my front door not the apartmrnt boxes too far for me. Anyway, thry only brought my mail once a week on friday for months maybe 1 yr. I said nothing. Then one day i needed a sim card immediately an t mobile would only uze postal service. I was draging my oxygeeoxygeoxygenoo"
"This Post Office used to have a small recycle bin in the hallway. The only requirement for its use was to break down the boxes and place them behind the bin, which all of the customers were in a habit of doing. About six months ago, this bin disappeared and has not returned. This left the four trash cans, one outside the door, two in the hallway, and one in the main lobby, for customers to deposit their trash. About two months ago, three of the cans disappeared, leaving the one in the lobby. When I asked for at least one can back in the hallway, the response to this on my next visit (September 2, 2022) was the removal of the lobby trash can with no explanation, leaving a total of zero cans for customers to use. Why? The second issue is the manner in which the staff loads the postal trucks. There are four spots for the customers to park, plus a handicapped parking spot. The trucks will park in the customer's spots to load up, which I understand due to the limited parking spaces, however, about nine out of ten loaders will pull their bin full of packages NEXT to the truck, taking another one of the remaining customer spaces, instead of BEHIND the truck which would leave a space free. It is hard to believe that these employees are that unaware of what they are doing, which makes me ask again - Why? The reason this rating is two stars and not one is because the employees who work behind the inside counter are polite and professional at all times. I would encourage those employees to keep up the good work."
"I have yet to get any of my packages on time or in a reasonable time. Have had multiple packages arrive at the post office, but never get delivered cause they mysteriously disappear. Currently waiting on a package they've had since 6am this morning and never delivered. Says it could be delivered by 8pm, but the post office closed at 12pm.. Highly doubt I'm going to get this package today (which I absolutely require in order to complete my online orders), being as they've already closed and won't be open til Monday. This is an all the time thing with the post office anymore to the point that they are becoming a joke, cause every other company (FedEx, ups, et cetera) are doing their jobs better than the post office. Even when my packages arrive on time, I have to wait for the post office to sit with it for 2 whole days to actually have it delivered to my house."
"Employees inside post office are always amazing. I ship daily through here for my online store. The US POSTAL SERVICE in general is a mess... Priority Mail packages taking up to a month to deliver... there should be refunds and/or credits given to these accounts... priority mail states 2-3 days shipping... not good business practice to lie to customers when you are aware that this time frame is not possible."
