"I called customer service concerning shipping requirements before shipping a package. I ended up having to call twice because the call was terminated, in both cases, at the same point. I do not have a shipping number or door tag number and I required a customer service representative to advise me on what I could ship, how I should present it to them, and how they would secure the package. On both calls I had to go through the automated service, which is supposed to ask preliminary questions, and after finding out that my question was not among the list of things the automated service could address then I asked for a customer service representative. It also asked if I had a shipping number or door tag number, which I answered no, and I was asked if I was shipping or receiving a package. After answering that I was shipping a package it said I was required to have a shipping number or door tag number and could not be helped without it. I was then instructed to call back once I had one of those numbers. This is a real problem with the FedEx automated answering service. Not only did I not get an answer to the question I needed, but I also have no idea how to contact them to have the actual question addressed by a customer service representative. As a result, I ended up calling UPS, got directly to a customer service representative, and he was very patient and descriptive in telling me exactly what I needed to know. I guess I know what service I'll be going with for this shipment."
"Just as a heads up: They do not take packages of their cupboard is full and there is no way to check beforehand. Better off going to a real FedEx location"
"Its not an easy way to return package here."
"The only thing you can do is drop off packages. No ability to print labels, package, etc. Should be called a drop box location."
"Fedex delivered my medications to a neighbor and then my gift got returned to sender. I tried to call them and only got a bot. I recognize that the holiday season and shutdown is a problem but they could at least man their phones for double errors."
