"I don't think the woman in front of the store could be more unfriendly. I had to make her say hello. Although she greeted everyone else walking in. Even said goodbye upon their departure. Located next door to Patriot family finance "code word" Trump won supporters. Clearly you need to be the correct hue to be greeted upon entering this establishment. Although several boutique owners in the rear were friendly giving info on their items for sale. Folks money is green but this time I"ll keep mine. Although tempted to give this little piece a home. Some people never change."

It wasn't just the eclectic stock of aged & antique treasures, but the lovely old Christmas songs from "the day" and fragrance of the holidays as well. I felt transported in time to a Christmas market that has something for everyone. All are kindly welcome. If corporate American stores are a bit too vague re Christmas, do yourself a solid and visit Artifact. It's Fredericksburg's best antique shop with a warm & tangible atmosphere of Christmas!"
