Bischoff Inn is a charming lodging establishment located at 320 Lafayette Street in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, United States. The Lounge at Bischoff Inn offers a range of amenities including a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, dining table and chairs, kitchen sink, and complimentary coffee and tea bar with grab-and-go snacks. The inn is situated in the heart of upstate Pennsylvania, surrounded by state parks, breweries, distilleries, farm-to-table dining options, historic architecture, and the famous Mahoning Drive-In Theater. Guests can also take a scenic train ride to Jim Thorpe, known as the "Little Switzerland of America," from the restored Tamaqua Train Station.
When booking a stay at Bischoff Inn, guests agree to the terms, conditions, and procedures outlined by the establishment. Reservations require a credit card for booking and are charged in full at the time of reservation. Cancellations made within 6 days of arrival are non-refundable. Credit cards will be authorized for incidentals upon check-in.
Guests are provided with a 4-digit access code for their room and the front door prior to arrival. Check-in arrangements can be made with the innkeeper, who may not always be available upon arrival. Early arrivals and late departures are subject to additional fees. Street and lot parking are available for guests.
Bischoff Inn enforces quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM and has a strict no party policy. The inn reserves the right to request a guest vacate their room without a refund if inappropriate behavior is exhibited. Security surveillance is in place for guest safety. The inn is currently not designed as an accessible building and does not permit pets or smoking of any kind.
Guests are responsible for any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning incurred during their stay. Commercial photography and filming on the property require prior approval. Bischoff Inn aims to provide a comfortable and secure environment for all guests, with a focus on maintaining the historic character of the property.

"A hidden gem in Tamaqua, PA. Rooms were clean and absolutely loved the décor. The coffee and snack bar was a nice perk. This was great for people like me who don’t normally eat a morning meal. Communication from the Innkeeper was great as they were quick to reply to questions I had."
"We loved our experience at Bischoff! We enjoyed the gorgeous suite, and even had time to hang out and enjoy the common room with others who were staying at the Inn at the time. We loved the restoration of the space and learned quite a bit of history through reading and conversation. Really appreciated the vintage taste of the owners and the recommendations for what to do in town, we did activate them. Overall, quality stay, comfy and extremely clean rooms, great atmosphere. "Bischoff Inn is a hidden treasure in the northeastern mountains of Pennsylvania. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and quiet. The artsy decor in the room and common room added to the historical significance of the building. It’s situated in a residential neighborhood of Tamaqua which gave it a hometown feeling- not like you get in a busy hotel. It was the best night’s stay we have had anywhere."

The room was super spacious and had everything we needed after a day in Jim Thorpe. There is also an awesome communal area with snacks and a TV.
