"Hospitality and unkeep hours suck. But the people here are amazingly nice"
"I spent the weekend of July 4, 2023 at Rosemont. I stayed there for a reunion i had in Tamaqua proper. The weekend had activities all weekend long. I myself have a very large RV. On the way out I tried to navigate through a narrow space between a tree and a pole. I ended up getting myself wedged on the pole. The owner and the staff spent two hours trying to get me unstuck. Bringing out all of the equipment at hand. Finally we had success. The owner and the staff were diligent in their work. They were friendly and understanding through the whole ordeal. I would recommend this campground wholeheartedly Joe Dowling"
"Heads up to anyone interested in paying a site, this “family campground.” new management will not let your family in without a pass. My gf got stopped and asked to see her pass when she was trying to visit her parents at their permanent site. Her family has been camping here for 20 years. Wouldn’t surprise me if this place gets sold again within a year. People aren’t going to pay for sites if their friends and families can’t visit them while they’re camping there. Hope the new owners read this and wake up hate to see this place change hands again."
"This place is literally the WORST, it used to be awesome until it got sold. The owners and staff were rude and didn't care about their campers at all. The pool was always dirty. They cut trees down on our site and didn't clean them up for days. When i asked if they'd be cleaned up i was told, "when we get to it." The owners personally went to our neighbors and said "good luck with them." all because my husband asked them to move a huge pile of logs they were splitting directly next to our camper, we go camping for peace. We were told they are allowed to work Monday through Friday until 3 pm. We seen them several times throughout the season working beyond those hours. We were threatened to be kicked out when my husband said something to staff about it being after the time frame. There were barely any activities for the kids to do. The cord for pur electric was practically split in half and their fix was the wrap it with tape all season. The bathrooms are literally disgusting. The end of season was a little better as a seasonal woman starting doing activities for the kiddos. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Also beginning of the season the playgrounds were filth, all kinds of garbage laying around, filthy benches at the park. It was like they didn't even try to get it ready. They also allow people to set up several tents on sites, I mean 20 plus people blasting music, bright lights, 4 wheelers. Bikes are not allowed and we seen several weekenders riding around. The best thing about this place is literally noone camps there, not even on holiday weekends, which tells you a lot."
"The campground is very nice. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it doesn't have enough activities. The playground and pool are very nice but the children won't have enough to keep them from getting bored. The family can go to bingo on Saturday nights. It is very hills are steep so bicycles are not allowed."
