"Ok if I could give zero stars for hospitality and service and rooms I would this place is disgusting I had to stay there for a week sense I was homeless I voiced concerns about my room and I was told if I don't like it I can leave also I had a dog it says 20 dollar flat fee here it's nightly but the people down from me had one and they never paid for it. They pick and choose who does what there and the rooms are gross busted tiles holes in the wall room smelt like cigarettes the smell smacks u in the face as soon as you open the door and I chose non smoking sense i had a heart attack in September the cable went out they had to change tvs which i got a attitude about breakfast is a pack of oatmeal and a honey bun im sorry the red roof is the same price and they serve hot breakfast for 97 a night i expect more not to mention the stains on the sides of the matress rhe burn holes in the blankets I mean what kind of place are u running here needs shut down if u ask me people are so rude."
"Hey it's an inexpensive cut rate motel, so you get what you pay for. Overall in that context not bad. Night staff was a bit insistent on charging for service dog, illegal, but we sorted it out. Day staff were good, breakfast is a paper bag w oatmeal mix and Danish and juice box. Internet was UNUSABLE, fox that! Lots of fast food etc right there walking distance."
"Honest staff who care about ppl as much as they can while trying to keep old and battered motel running. Some of original charm (beautiful masonry, gardens) remains and is pleasantly nostalgic (still use real, non-digital keys). Rooms work for sleeping (ac/shower/fridge/etc) but it's the farthest thing from luxury most americans could imagine. Breakfast is a honeybun and juice box lol but there are fantastic restaurants very near. Also next to spectacular gravel bike/running trail and amazing views/architecture. Will stay again if it's just me, or really just need a bed and roof while traveling. Otherwise, probably worth extra money to have more comfortable mattresses and not dilapidated furnishings. Still 5 stars for anyone not expecting a resort."
"Rooms were better than most cheap motels and the front desk was nice but not very helpful and location wise...well I know franklin isn't like on the way to anything but they need to find a better place closer to the main avenue."
"I am very disappointed by not one but two employees there. My wife and I come to the hotel one to two times a month just to relax and enjoy ourselves. Everytime we go there we get charged a different price. The second to this last time we was put in a room that smelled like cat urine. The following time after that we made the employee aware of the smell in our previous room looking to be compasated at some level but was only spoke to in a passive agrressive manner. But the icing on the cake came last night (Aug1st) When there was drunk people outside our room playing music and talking loud at 5am. Earlier that day we was asked to let maintenance men in our room. My wife asked about getting the 30 dollars back after returning the key to our room. Only to be told that that is not their policy and followed that comment ""your white don't you speak English?) I will never return to the Knights Inn again. Nor would I recommended anyone else to go to this establishment."
