"Open to members only, beautiful private space , food was good , staff were very professional."
"Such a Beautiful Mansion. Exclusive. I was there for a Baltimore Heritage lecture. The only Black Woman in a group of 85 people. But WOW, Such a Lovely old house. A Baltimore Treasure. But if my experience is the norm, it is also a throwback to our Segregated history as a city."
"For the event my company held at the Engineers Club in September 2023, the food and atmosphere was wonderful. And while the staff was extremely accommodating, communication with the event planner leading up to the event was frustrating. She explained that she did not work on Mondays or Tuesdays when I was awaiting responses to my questions, but regularly did not answer at all without being prompted multiple times. Also, she continuously disrespected my request to please not call my personal cell unless it was an emergency, despite multiple reminders. And I have now asked three times for a copy of the final BEO for our event that took place well over a month ago. If only the back-of-house was as efficient as the front-of-house."
"We got married late in the Fall 2022 season and overall had a great experience with the Engineers Club. As a type A person, I struggled a bit with a lack of communication from 10 to 4 months away from the wedding. However, Asha COMPLETELY came through for us during crunch time and listened to my every want and need. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, without either of us having to worry about any logistics. We received so many compliments on every aspect of the venue -- food, drinks, ambiance, vibe, staff, etc. In the end, I never should have been worried... They definitely know what they are doing! Highly recommend, just be patient :-)"
"Wonderful buffet lunch for weekday group meeting. Highly recommend planning a visit to the Maryland History and Culture museum just a short walk away followed by lunch at the Club."
