"We went to see Dara O'Briain. He was brilliant, the venue is nice too except for the pillars which might obstruct your view depending on where you're sitting."
"Overall great intimate venue…literally the only down side was the brick pillars hard to see around if you had a bad spot. Nonetheless, I’d go back, just get there earlier. Went to see Ali Saddiq, a true master of the craft and had a great time!"
"What a great space! And the staff is very helpful too! Rent this place for your next event, you'll be glad you did!"
"We rented The Capital Turnaround for our wedding and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a unique and memorable venue. Eddie and the team at IMPACT Collective are true event pros who understand how to manage all details to ensure a smooth production. They worked with us to handle challenges with COVID procedures and mandates required by the D.C. government. They provided the peace of mind we needed to feel completely at ease and excited for our big day!"
"Locals call this historic blue building in Navy Yard the “Blue Castle.” It’s a quirky looking building with a rich story. In the 19th century, the building was a car barn for one of the busiest trolley lines in Washington, D.C. Since then, it’s been many things. Recently, National Community Church restored the building and turned it into an impressive music venue, event space, community space. My family visited for the first time for their Christmas Village event for the neighborhood complete with santa photo ops, train rides, a hot cocoa and cider bar and more. It’s one example of free events for the community. The space itself is beautifully restored maintaining its industrial feel. The ceilings are high and brick exposed. There are multiple venue rooms, a spacious lobby and a play area for kids with a rock climbing wall. If you have a chance to go to one of their community events, make it a priority."
