"Watched "A Christmas Carol," not knowing what quality to expect. Good? Great? Excellent? The play was easily one of the best forms of visual entertainment I have ever seen. The acting and choreography were outstanding, and the effects were like something out of a Disney production. I definitely recommend seeing a play here."

"This was an interesting and eye-opening few hours looking back into the history of Abraham Lincoln from the time he took office to his assassination. There’s a compact museum but it’s filled with interesting artifacts including the JWB’s derringer. The ranger talk in the theater itself is filled with details of that infamous night. The “Aftermath” museum was being renovated at our visit, so will come back for sure. And don’t miss the tower in front of Lincoln books!"

"Title: A Magical Christmas at Ford's Theatre: History and Holidays Unite My recent visit to Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C., was an extraordinary experience, highlighted by the fantastic performance of "The Christmas Carol." The show was a true spectacle, brimming with incredible artistic talent and a vibrant festive spirit that I loved. The Theatre is a masterpiece, blending its significant historical essence with modern elegance. As I walked through its doors, I was captivated by the seamless combination of its rich past and the lively present, especially during the Christmas season. "The Christmas Carol" was not just a performance; it was a celebration of storytelling at its best, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and creativity on display. The museum tour, alongside the show, offered its fascinating insights. It delved deeply into America's history, particularly emphasizing the momentous event of Abraham Lincoln's assassination. Each exhibit was meticulously curated, creating an informative and immersive journey that complemented and enhanced the theatrical experience. Visiting Ford's Theatre is an experience I highly recommend. It's more than a historical site; it's where the past meets the present most engagingly. Whether you're drawn to history or the arts or simply seeking a unique and enjoyable experience in D.C., Ford's Theatre is a must-visit destination. The fantastic show and a deep dive into American history made my visit memorable."

"An incredible museum dedicated to the tragic events that transpired in 1865 leading to Lincoln's assignation. As a National Park site, there are lots of park rangers around to help provide information. Note that tickets are free, but can be reserved online for $3.50 (useful especially in the summertime or busier seasons). Sometimes, the theatre might be closed if there are other performances at the time, but if one attends a performance, pre-show, one can visit the museum."

"Incredible Museum for such an important moment in the American history. You can see the location where Lincoln was shot and the Gun. There is an interesting Museum below the Theatre which explains a lot of the context. The Free ticket then gets you access to the house opposite where Lincoln actually died. You will probably need a couple of hours at least to do both museums."
