"For two years, our daughter has attended the Power of Paint Art Academy summer camp and we as a family have thoroughly appreciated the great work this organization does to provide a place for children of all backgrounds and economic levels to enjoy a place to belong during the summer months and even throughout the year. We cannot say enough about how important it is to have an affordable, safe, community-minded, activities-based camp for children to attend when school is not in session and in their various year-long activities and offerings.. We are huge supporters of this academy and only wish more cities provided options such as this to an urban clientele who need a place for their kids to be safe and to grow and learn. Thank you, Power of Paint!"
"My daughter has attended the Power of Paint summer camp for the past 2 years. She loves it and has made some really good friends! The directors, Teisha and Vanessa, care about our kids and their whole being. They set aside time each day to have the kids reflect and share their goals. They also have a lot of fun together! I am thankful to have a camp to send my daughter to where I can trust that she will be loved and cared for."
"What an amazing mixture of art and self love! Vanessa and Tiesha afford children opportunities that they may not be able to otherwise afford. With their gentle mannerisms and kind words they encourage the children to open up about life, school, religion, etc. Walking them step by step through art work and life circumstances Power of Paint has been an absolute blessing to my family and several other families that I have referred in the community. So selfless, they give of themselves for the betterment of each and every child that they encounter. Power of Paint is what the world needs more of. Ladies... you deserve all of the Greatness that the world has to offer. Keep inspiring, keep aspiring and keep being you."
"Power of Point is a blessing for my family! They have been mentors and inspirations to my girls. The camp is awesome and the best I got so far! My daughters is returning next year too… the two owners are smart, intelligent, trustworthy and reliable people to have take care of my daughters!"
"My son participated as a student in Power of Paint and also worked for them. He had a great time and learned about Establishing Credit, taxes l, music and creating a business. I had two foster children who participated in the art program virtually. They were able to talk about feelings and how to use art as therapy."
