"Very nice teachers who overall are knowledgeable and insightful. Challenging curriculum that helps to build critical thinkers. However, as other reviews have mentioned, while most of the education departments are well organized and helpful and engaging to the learning experience, the science department has some serious issues with educational methods--such as relying too heavily on critical thinking skills of the students (critical thinking is wonderful but some of the teachers in the department often insists on not using the textbooks and would often brush off student questions and thus assign unfair (mostly lower than expected) grades on average on assignments and tests and the like). Special education consulers and general education consulers (your advisers) are generally very nice and helpful too. Average on the extracurricular activities. The cafe on the other hand is a complete letdown. Generally a really good school."
