"The entertainment was top-notch However it took over 1.5 hrs to get drinks, over 2 hrs to get food which could've been explained what the error was instead of us seeking answers. You have to request eating utensils. Some of the younger female staff aren't friendly at all. Mac n cheese was rushed (a little on the runny side) Food was delivered out of order so one person ate before the rest of the table Catfish, shrimp, and greens were all delicious and the patrons were fun & fabulous Drinks were ok"
"This place gets zero stars!!! I received Bloody Chicken Hopefully I don't get sick, Mac and Cheese was horrible wasn't even cooked all the way too soupy, Corn bread was cold. Place is unprofessional They don't care about customer health. They just rush. Absolutely do not eat from this place what so ever."
"Really great food and service is really nice. Ms. Candy is extremely professional and curteous. The catfish here is really flavorful and crispy. The sweet potato pie was homemade and on point. I had that catfish 2x now, didn't disappoint."
"The food here is outstanding!! I’ve been here twice in the same week and both times were absolutely fabulous. The service was great and I really have no complaints. I got the catfish platter with macaroni and cheese and string beans as well as the pineapple upside down cake (huge!). The portions are great and the catfish was cooked so delicately. The Mac and cheese was truly spectacular (and I’m a picky eater too). The first time I came I got a crab cake with French fries. Just SO good!! It’s a cozy space with live events every week. LOVE that it’s black owned, and in a convenient location for those who take public transit or are visiting the city. I can’t recommend them enough!! Please visit. They do have an accessible entrance but parking is limited besides other parking garages or street parking nearby. Prices are not cheap but worth it!"
