"On Tues. 9/28/2022....I accompanied my mother to her 1st visit to this Fox Chase location. She was scheduled for a consultation with Dr Patel. We arrive just 10 mins late. A gentleman at the counter behind us checked in after us & mention he also was there for Dr Patel & he was 40mins late for his appointment. The waiting room was full & had just a few seats left unoccupied. After waiting 1hr 45mins...I ask the front desk "do you know about how much longer my mother may have to wait?". The receptionist simply said..."I don't know". The receptionist then looked to another receptionist & said..."she wants to know when they'll call her mother". The other receptionist replied...."I don't know, Dr Patel had an emergency". We waited another 20 mins before my mother was called back to be seen. Even the gentleman who was 40mins late was called back before my mother. I also witnessed a young lady who arrived after us get called for Dr Patel get called back before my mother. It was clear she was there for Dr Patel because the waiting room is small & receptionist speak loud enough for anyone in the room to hear info about anyone visiting. The receptionist needed rescheduling info for that young lady & said..."let me call back to get your info". It would've been professional & nice if she'd one the same for my mother when I asked about an estimated wait time. But they made no effort to get information for me. When my mother was finally called back & seen....her vist with Dr Patel was very informative, helpful, & professional. However, the 2 hour 5 min wait time is completely unacceptable. Someone should've come out to the waiting area to explain the long wait. I had to ask to find out. They left us just sitting & waiting for way too long."
