"My granddaughter was there for three weeks was billed by a boy about the way she talks he slapped her slammed her hand in the locker. That was the last of it she lost it and jumped on him. She was telling the teachers she didn't know she was to go to someone else and because no one seen him nothing was done. My granddaughter was put out of school.I know no valance rule but nothing goes for bullying."

"My son has been attending Sankofa since 1st grade I appreciate everything that Sankofa offers the staff are very into our, culture and have the curriculum my son needs. So I thank each and every staff member throughout the years that helped me push my son to elevate to now the 11th Grade. Thank you Mrs.Susan Burns"

"I have to admit the school can have there ups and downs but it’s a very intellectual school and they try to listen to there scholars on certain occasions I use to attend the school I kinda miss it the students and the adults the staff is very kind and caring and the school tend to change with the students as the students use there voices the work can be a bit overwhelming but you’ll get the hang of it as you get more into it and even the students help one another out it’s a fun school and there very strict with there safety policies and you learn allot about yourself in my opinion but when it comes to the downs some reassurance for the staff members may be need I had a few encounters with a few of the security guards and my mom had a situation where one of the staff members where a bit aggressive but besides that I think it’s a pretty awesome school"

"The education is very good. The academics are pretty high and the teachers want you succeed. There are many trips and events and activities. However, the students are very disrespectful and the teachers let a lot of things slide."

"I love this school and all my future children will go there. The school is a safe place for Black and NBPOC children. The teachers are great and responsive. The school teaches traditional African principles and centers on academics and representation. My son's reading, writing, and self esteem have soared at this school. In these times, a school like this is vital for our children. I suggest this school to any parent."
