"Do not come here for small diagnostics, the pricing is ridiculous. Also make sure you ask for the price of the treatment and I gurantee they will do their best to not tell you. Went here for ear check up and the same diagnostic machine itself is ~ $5000 online, but they charged me ~ $6000 for the test itself, they didn't give me drugs or anything other devices, only been in the facility less than 1 hour, and only the test with the machine. I asked them to itemized the bill to see how they arrived at $6000 and they say it's all 1 item and made that price on their own. Earlier before the treatment I asked the price of the treatment and they refuse to say. I regret that now. Now after asking to get price and I have been transfered around on the phone alot, eventually reached their billing department and they say a sub department knows and then they disconnect the phone, and I have to do the entire process again."
"Shady biling practices, sounds like an audit needs to be done. Almost like they are running a ponzi scheme. This place and the Dr's there are just bilking "their" patients. I will be making a call to seek legal advice. Update. I talked to my insurance provider today, and they are going to file a appeal, and advise their legal department to review the practices of capital health billing dept. For possible insurance fraud."
"This office was great. I typically go to the Bordentown office but I don't understand why the reviews here are so poor. I think it's important to point out that almost everything on these reviews that has been named an issue (customer service reps, scheduling, attitude) applies mostly to the customer service line when you call, and not specifically the Hamilton office. Whenever I go in for my appointments, everyone is super pleasant (check in staff, nurses, and doctors). The frustrating parts about capital health is- if you call to make an appointment, it is a scheduling line. It is hard to get a specific office on the phone. I wish it were easier to get an appointment with my normal primary care physician when unexpectedly getting sick, but that is an issue beyond this office. I ended up going with whoever was available and the doctor here was so nice! This office seems fine. The capital health system could use some improvements, for sure. 4 stars because it is a bit confusing when you walk in if you don't normally go to this location and the security guard was kind of rude. Not everyone is going to be pleasant all the time though. Like I said, the people who mattered during my visit were great!"
"Woman in central billing with Caribbean accent (sounds Jamaican) has HORRIBLE customer service skills. She should not be answering phones or speaking with patients. She was constantly talking over me and cutting me off in an incredibly rude tone. She had 0 desire to help me at all and was extremely condescending. Apologize for the description of her accent but I didn’t get her name. ***I’d like to note that this has no reflection on the front desk staff as they are polite & very willing to help."
"I called this morning the information desk and a male operator spoke with me in an ignorant and disrespectful way, with an attitude. I felt uncomfortable after this conversation. My review applies only for the interaction with this customer service representative. I would feel uncomfortable coming into the doctors office to face him in person based on the phone interaction today."
