"If I could give zero stars I would! My son who is 2 years old was seen by Deshpande, Sanjay on 1/04/24 because he was really sick. Not only was the doctor super condescending, but he was rude and certainly not helpful. He was in such a hurry to head out the office, that he was out before we left. He did not help us at all and we ended up taking my son some place else. Then they charged a $380 “flat fee” bill with no explanation and when I called to ask for an itemized bill, I received no explanation except for “you need to call you insurance”. Also, they make you keep a card on file so they can charge your card automatically. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!"
"Came here on Christmas Eve because my daughter was very sick and the nurse’s line at our pediatrician’s office said to take her to urgent care. We decided to come here because according to the website there were 0 people and a 15 minute wait. If we had known how inaccurate the website was, we would have gone to a regular urgent care that was closer. We arrived with a very sick kiddo and the woman at the front desk was already waiting on people but called out to us over the people she was helping to ask if we had an appt. I said no. She looked at me like I was an absolute idiot and told me there was at least a three hour wait. I told her the website said there was only a 15 minute wait. (Obviously this info was wrong and she has no control over the website but I said this to explain myself because looked so disgusted with us.) She kind of mumbled to herself about how that couldn’t be right and obviously didn’t believe me. She then asked what was wrong with my kiddo, requiring me to explain my her medical stuff within earshot of a roomful of people and the family she had in front of her. I did because it wasn’t anything embarrassing but this struck me as a very unprofessional way to triage. She told me what they did was very limited and made it very clear we were not wanted here. We left. I called Hunterdon Urgent Care in Flemington. When I explained what was going on with my daughter they were very kind and said they couldn’t promise that we wouldn’t have to go to the ER but that the doctor there would at least put eyes on her to see how serious it was. We got there, waited maybe 20 minutes, doctor was great, no hospital visit necessary, and they even gave my daughter a stuffed animal because it was Christmas Eve. I will never come to PM Pediatrics again. The published wait times are wildly inaccurate and the front desk person was unprofessional and unkind. We came here for help and instead left feeling insulted and even more stressed than we already were."
"I am only giving this place a 3 stars because of the all the girls that were so kind and apologetic. Amanda was great in getting us to our room, the front desk was awesome, very friendly and kind and last but not least, Jenn, she was awesome. First of all registering is pretty easy, scan a QR code and fill out the forms. The wait time I thought it was a bit long for an urgent care that was pretty empty. But when I got to the room I realized why it was the way it was. The Dr on, was not good at all. Dr. Alva. First of all, let me say that I wouldn’t come back here if she was here. How are you a Dr in a pediatric location and you have NO empathy for your patients. So we get brought to the room, and then Amanda says, Dr will be right in, I said ok. Well the “Dr” comes in, just opens the door, doesn’t say hi, doesn’t ask how are you at least, doesn’t smile, I mean she was NOT welcoming at all! My son looked at me and said that was awkward, you know why? Because I didn’t know her name, she didn’t even introduce herself to me! So I asked one of the girls if that was the Dr and she says yes, I said wow, she was rude and didn’t say anything! I’ve never experienced a pediatric place, with a Dr so rude like that. When the Dr leaves the room I hear her listening to a voice note, I think in Spanish, so goes to show her heart wasn’t in this! She would rather had been on her phone. So then she comes back and just tells us the results and then she just completely walks out, she doesn’t say “the nurse will be right back with paper work” nothing! She didn’t say bye she didn’t say feel better. Just nothing! No empathy! I was so ready to leave after dealing with her. Of course the girls are apologizing for other people’s actions which is so unfair, because as a Dr she should be a leader and this place should be a welcoming place for little ones! I really hope they find someone who can show empathy to the little ones, because when a kid is hurting or not feeling well, a Dr can help in making that child feel better. No one should apologize for a grown women’s behavior, Dr Alva needs a training on bedside manners. You’re making the office look bad with this type of behavior."
"The receptionist , nurse, and Dr were amazing! The level of care and compassion they showed my young, injured child was exactly what the medical care industry should mimic. Both the nurse and the Dr. introduced themselves and talked to my child, making them feel more at ease. I find this doesn’t usually happen in typical situations so it made us feel as if we were not just another daily number, but a patient they were invested in helping."
"One of my children had a medical episode on Saturday evening, and we rushed to PM Pediatrics for treatment. The staff's response couldn't have been better. From the moment we walked in the door, they were attentive and even checked my child's pulse ox to make sure they were satting okay. Dr. Thomas was very friendly and kind, and he put my child at ease. My child responded quickly to the treatment provided. We were in and out in less than an hour. They were seriously faster than the emergency room, which is where we would have had to go if not for PM Pediatrics. Thank you!"
