"It’s a great school. They learn about animals and their reproduction in life. Seems like the children all get along together. And it’s a friendly school. It would be nice if the city of Philadelphia would give a lot more to the school. Just like they do with all the other schools in Philadelphia. Contribute something to the school and the children that go there have a little bit better. They need things just like every other schools. From books to sports items they need a little help too. Thank you"
"I will say this is a school that has given me some memories. things have changed over the years and we all have to adapt to them. we have all lost friends, whether leaving or worse, and we have all had problems, but in the end we all gain something out of it. for me, i learned alot these last four years and a month (summer session), but because of so many budget cuts i feel that many of the freshman and some of the other grades didnt get to truly experience what we have experienced in the class of 2014. its unfortunate, but saul managed to pull through, showing my fellow peers the way to work hard for what you want or are trying to achieve. they have given us the tools to succeed, whether working hard physically or academically, and the education is worth it, as well as the life experience. you can say what you want about other schools and how things are taught, but here we can honestly say with alot of things that we have learned that it does tie in with life. AND, you dont see the same problems you would usually see at other schools. for us, we feel like a huge family (despite school size)."
"I go to Saul High School (Class of 2017!) and I absolutely LOVE IT. Even as a freshman I am able to get involved with things like the Fruit Sale, FFA Week, FFA Advisory, and yesterday, Country Fair Day! The school really gives back to the community. Between events, freshly grown fruits, vegetables and flowers, and the animals they raise for the Farm Show, the school is very involved. The teachers are amazing and supportive, and very qualified. Everything about the school is amazing and I am proud to say I attend the school, and will be for the next 3 years."
"Saul is one of the best schools. Especially because of its hands on approach. The skill you learn there can actually be used in the real world. If say no bull but you run into a lot of that on the farm."
"@The person who asked about uniform policy- When I first went there no, there wasn't a uniform policy (other than long pants because of the farm). However it did change and the last I checked it was tan/khaki pants, and a blue/"corn" gold collared shirt (or polo). I would check the website or simply call as they will be starting their first summer session in July! Such a great school when I was there (Class of '06). You get life experience that you can't get in other schools. It's a great experience for kids to have. The first year is daunting, sophomore year is a little easier but by the time you get to your junior and senior year you realize how much you've learned and the teachers treat you like actual people (which most schools don't). It becomes apart of your life, when other people talk about their high school experiences you realize just how different Saul is and how going anywhere else wouldn't have sufficed. I still keep in contact with some of my teachers (6 years later) and there is a reunion every year! If you get the opportunity to go take it!"
