"If you are reading this before you enroll your child think twice. Academics are outstanding but do your homework before you choose this school for athletics, especially football. Inconsistent stories of why the football coach was terminated (published that he stepped down but read between the lines) had let to football athletes scrambling to search for a more stable school. Parents had a meeting this evening comparing notes and ruling out rumors with one parent offering to pay for a private detective to get the real story of what happened to the head coach mid season. Rumors of undesirable coaches taking over next season with no communication from the school only reinforces the need for students to transfer because the next coach will be out in a year or two, it’s a pattern. No wonder you don’t see a buy in from students at games. No kids in the student section, no crowds at games. Sadly the program is suffering from lack of leadership so my advice, stay away. My step son is a senior but if he was anything but I’d be livid and searching for answers. From the sounds of it, the parents at tonight’s meeting along with alumni will get to the bottom of what’s going on. The core teaching staff cares at this school, it’s the athletic department that needs to be placed under the microscope and it looks like it’s going to happen."
"Athletics department head needs to be replaced. Football program will suffer because of shenanigans, kids are beginning to leave already. The actions of others are hurting our kids educations."
"This school was hard for me partly because of not having many friends and the feeling of getting picked on for that."
"Excellent school, my 3 boys were students there. Worth every penny. We felt we were part of a family. We found the curriculum offered great courses and there were lots of clubs, activities plus wonderful performing arts and of course, competitive sports teams. If you don't like rules, discipline and consequences... don't go there. If you want your kids to be prepared for college level work, and life... we felt that this school accomplished that fully!"
"I watched my mother work there only to see her massively ripped off. Taking advantage of her strong catholic background they had her working for about minimum wage her entire career. Her benefits were light, and she often did work at home, unpaid. Now retired she receives no medical, and got no pension. This place is run by jerks who treat their employees like crap."
