"I am someone who shops other offices if I am not happy with a referral. I made the mistake of going to Penn Medicine in Cherry Hill to investigate an increase in my PSA (prostare Specific Antigen) level. I asked a fellow professional for a referral and he gave me Dr. Becker’s name. I got an appointment within a week as opposed to Penn Medicine (where I trained) which after my initial visit, couldn’t get me in again for 3 months to discuss the results of my MRI which pointed to the need for a biopsy. I was scheduled to see Dr. Becker in a week. I let their front desk know that their history intake on the web was the most thorough and user-friendly one I had ever experienced. I was kept waiting less than 10 minutes and then Kelly, Dr. Becker’s physician assistant went over my history thoroughly and took my BP and then performed an ultrasound of my bladder and urethra which were found to be normal. Dr. Becker was in my room 5-10 minutes later, and must have spent 45 minutes explaining much more than I ever expected to learn! I figured I must have been his last patient of the day, but I was not. One of the reasons that I left dentistry was because I sensed people were just getting more temperamental. The vast disparity between five stars (which is warranted) and one star ratings said to me, “these poor staff members are trying so hard to do everything the way Markus Welby would have expected, and they seem to attract a lot of discontented individuals.” As a retired professional zI need not search any further. I’m even going to get to see a golfing buddy I haven’t seen since he was the anesthesiologist for my grandson’s birth by c-section 13 years ago! And I told them what music I want on my headphones, just as I did when I started my family dental practice in 1976."
"Overcrowded office that felt like a factory. Rude receptionists. The nurse who did the intake was nice, the one and only positive. The bathroom to give samples in was dirty, and someone else’s urine was sitting in a jug on the floor (I wish I’d taken a picture, but was too disgusted and trying to get out of there quickly). The exam room was dirty, and there was a bug crawling around on the trash can. I waited an hour past my appointment time (standard with specialists, but plan accordingly). The doctor was more focused on taking notes than providing care, and stated they “don’t know what’s going on” with me and then recommended a CAT scan for an issue that I don’t have symptoms for. Upon reading the prescription, it was ordered based on a complaint that I never said I had. This is by far one of the dirtiest offices I’ve ever been to and I absolutely would not recommend them. The fact I was able to get an appointment so quickly should have been a warning about what to expect!"
"I received good treatment here today, I was surprised given the amount of negative reviews. The front desk staff seemed to be in a good mood (a few days before xmas) and I was seen quite promptly. I saw Dr Weiss. I think from the time I walked in to walked out it took 40 minutes."
"There is a couple things that went wrong. I was told by my doctor to go to the ER to get immediately treated on Tuesday. I do as such, and I get consulted with Urology. They begin telling me I will receive the surgery that night or first thing Wednesday by a specific surgeon. Time went by, the surgeon then didn’t have availability to do both procedures I needed, and only could do one and said I would have to come back at a later time to do the other surgery. Frustrated by this, they told me I could get both surgeries done on Monday by him, and I could go in person Wednesday to speak with him about it. I asked multiple times throughout the ER visit to the PA speaking with me from Urology if the place she is talking with takes my insurance, she told me yes. I call myself, they say yes. I get to my appointment Wednesday, I get checked in, go throughout my whole appointment and get scheduled for surgery. Surgeon wrote down the wrong kidney to operate on, which I had to correct. And I was sent in my way. First thing this morning I receive a phone call saying he does not take my insurance and that my surgery is canceled. Even though I asked many times throughout this whole experience. Not only did you waste my time, but are leaving me in pain longer and told me you had no other options to help me. So if I had chosen to get the first surgery that next day, would I have been admitted into the hospital, prepped, and waited around for literally nothing? Terrible."
"This office is one of the most unprofessional medical offices I have ever seen. I am actually not the patient, my son was. His first appointment for a consultation went completely crazy. He arrived at his scheduled time and was told there would be a four hour wait. He had been waiting for this for a long time so he just wanted to stay and get the consultation over with. They did offer to give him another appointment two months later. At the consultation it was decided he would have a procedure in office. On the day of the procedure he arrived and was told that his procedure has been canceled. The way they notified him of that was through one email. Never a follow up when he didn’t respond. They never thought he might have missed the email. They never gave him a phone call. I told him to find another urologist which he did. The procedure that this office said could be done in house, he was told by the new office it would be better if he went to a surgery center for it. When I questioned them the first time about his four hour wait they looked at me as if I had three heads. If he had been the one who was four hours late, you can bet they would’ve charged him for an office visit."
