"My child was hospitalized here for about 3 weeks. They were very organized and kept me updated throughout the process. Most of the staff are very friendly. The receptionist who runs the front desk during visiting hours is a little rough and can come off pretty rude. She warms up after you learn the visiting process other than the extra stern receptionist, the experience was far better than I expected."

"Horrible experience my child went for help and all she got was bitten by bug bugs, a dirty room. Staff Chanel (spelling probably wrong) but that's her name super rude and just lied about numerous things. Had to call and ask for a supervisor Kathy was amazing but still a one star based on my child being bit, placed in wrong unit and that Chanel girl."

"I stayed here in June of 2022 and can only now talk about my experience. When I met with the charge nurse for intake I was told I wasn’t trying hard enough and that’s why I was struggling. I had a panic attack for three days not eating or drinking and instead of addressing that I was not fed and was yelled at to come out for vitals. Once I realized they did not care about you or your symptoms I played the game for ten days to get out. On July ninth not even one week later I almost fatally overdosed because of this place. I was in the cardiac ICU and then went to LANCASTER BEHAVIORAL HEALTH for another ten days. Not the best place but way better than Brooke Glenn. No behavioral hospital is suppose to be fun of a vacation but I did expect to be mentally physically and emotionally taken care of. I watched someone take their life there. A fight break out. Someone sneak a vape in just to name a few. If you care about your mental health DO NOT GO TO BROOKGLENN. It’s funny because they will not even read this and respond “please message this person to make your time right.” THE THING THAT WILL MAKE MY TIME RIGHT IS HAVING MY VOICE HEARD. I’m one year clean and so much happier. Your life matters. Take it 30 minuets at a time. Find your voice ❤️"

"Absolutely HATED it there. The bad outweighed the good in this case... I was sent here during my time in middle school, it was recommended by a school counselor when I was suffering from hallucinations, and was discharged 30 days later. It felt like the staff practically treated you as nothing more than just a liability. Had all of my belongings taken from me and couldn't so much as draw (which they only allowed that with group art/music sessions.) I remember calling my mother one night scared and she told me that this was the best thing to help with my mental state. Didn't make things better for me, plus the medication I was given made me even more miserable. My roommate was violent, she punched a hole in the wall of our room, would kick at the wall and swear at the staff. One night, she gets up in the middle of the night for some ice and she was held down by the staff as she screamed, cried and swore. We did get to know each other a bit, but there were times we didn't see eye to eye. The only positive thing I could take away from this was that some of the staff were nice, and some of the younger kids I was put with got along with me fine. But I would never want to come back here again if things took a nosedive for this place."
