"This hospital is the worse in communication I ever seen, I tried for 3 days to talk to one social worker..a no response whatsoever!! The response time for patients care is very slow..I would not recommend this place to anyone,,however the lung transplant department is very good they have been good to me thus far!"
"Dr. GUPTA IS THE WORST PULMONARY DOCTOR. Does not care about patients, for a year he has misdiagnosed a family member!! Pathetic Doctor"
"Temple Lung Center has helped me without any problems such as I see described in other reviews. This is one of the best places in Philadelphia for pulmonary health care. I was able to consult with the department head while he was in the middle of extremely complicated work. The same attention to detail can be found in any other member of the team. Thank you for helping me and many others."
"Wasted 7 months of time with this place. Long story short because I got into a heated discussion with the one care coordinator I was dropped from the program. This particular care coordinator has an ego the size of Texas. Most of the doctors and nurses were great but a very few need lessons in why people come to see them. We come for help and compassion and hope. Seems to me they need to try to live up to the façade they present on their commercials on TV. If you are looking for help, understanding, care, and hope, go somewhere else!"
"I was a patient for several years and received very good care from my doctor. Over this past summer, my asthma conditions worsened significantly. I had to call several times to get an appointment. Either I wouldn't get a person and would leave a message and no one would call me back or the receptionist would tell my doctor didn't have his schedule posted and I couldn't get an appointment. After I finally received an appointment, I showed up only to be told my doctor was out with Covid and I would have to reschedule. No one had called me prior to me showing up. I begged for an appointment because I was feeling so unwell. The doctor agreed to squeeze me and spend less than 5 minutes with me. I called the following week to say that I was still having trouble breathing. I was told the doctor would call me back. He never did. I called 3 more times. No call back for 3 weeks. In the meantime, I had to go to urgent care and the ER where I was told my doctor would follow up. He never did. I finally wrote a letter to Temple and received a letter back saying that because the doctor called me back 3 weeks after my initial visit, they didn't see a reason for my complaint. If you can't breathe, 3 weeks is a lifetime. I have switched doctors and suggest everyone look elsewhere for doctors and nurses who actually care and respond to patients in a timely fashion."
