He is personable, kind, and takes a genuine interest in your health and helping you feel better. He teaches you various exercises that are maintainable and encourages you to invest in your own health. He holds you accountable in a positive manner to help you keep up with therapy outside sessions. He continuously checks in and follows up to ensure progress. He works with you if you have issues with making appointments to make sure you are able to continue therapy. He drives you to work hard by doing exercises with you rather than dictate and watch. Ryan however actually worked on me and found out that I didn't have tendinitis but strained biceps. Then he told me how to fix them. "There's so many wonderful things to say about Dr. Ryan Carson at Modern Care Physical Therapy, but the first thing that comes to mind is how passionate he is and how much he truly cares about his patients. I am a competitive Obstacle Course Racer and have dedicated every day the last 4 years of my life to intense training or competing. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a difficult client as I'm very active and working out and competing is my life. I was suffering from chronic knee pain and I had finally had enough, thw pain was getting so bad I couldn't even walk down a few stairs without stopping and cringing in pain. Running was becoming an impossibility and I was having doubts that I would be able to compete in the Spartan Ultra World Championships just a few short months away. That's when I was introduced to Dr. Carson and all those concerns were washed away. He diligently worked on my knee and put together a solid rehab plan to ensure the strength and endurance of my knee would be back to normal. After only a few short weeks I was able to not just walk down stairs but run down them, and was cleared to begin running. Dr. Carson even dealt with my messages saying "sooo, I have a race tomorrow I really want to do, can we get a session in tonight so k can compete" and every time it came with the same response "I'll see you at 7". With that being said he got me back to running and competing pain free at the level I was so used to in less than 6 weeks.
