"I had the opportunity to do my road test at PA Pride....Highly professional with a MAJOR BONUS, there location in Pennsylvania have grade 7 and 8 HILLS which as a newby was a wonderful place to be taught AND USE the Jake Brake to which other schools avoid for reasons unknown to me. The instructors not only teach you in groups but with a private option. I will recommend this school to other students and likely return tfor lifting a restricted license by learning manual.thete. "Took my CDL test yestrday at this facility and I was really glad I did it here. My school from Ohio set up our road test here due to OH testing sites overbooked schedule. It was about 90 min drive but honestly, not that bad. I took extra 2 hours of practice before the test, I think that you should do minimum an hour if you want everything to go smooth and get familiar with the truck. My appointment was at 8 am, I did check in at 8, and at 8:10 I was already with Ed at the truck doing pre-trip practice. He was very helpful and most important calm and easy to work with. He made me safe and confident to take my test after the practice. Now, you will need to know your staff, as Ed will not let you just pass, you actually need to know what you are doing, but at the same time he was relaxed and I didn't felt at any moment pressure or anything else. He will go with you over everything before test at the practice and pretty much you just need to follow all those directions to be successful at the test itself. If you need road test for CDL, this is place to do it."
