"I was screaming for a Doctor in the middle of the night but my Nurse left me lying on the floor unable to get up for 45 minutes! Finally I made them call security so I could get those guys to get me a Doctor and that worked! They had to be called constantly. They screwed up my meds list several times! Then for an upper GI they decide since it’s a holiday and I’m last they’re going to rush me through something serious so they can run home but they wouldn’t even administer Anastesia! Look there’s tons more I could say but I’m letting my formal grievance do the talking for me. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here! You’ll regret it! Believe it or not, on third shift the Nurses would actually sleep in a room while people are needing help and the other Nurses cover for them but then you have to wait for help longer! Very very disgusted."
"Efficient, knowledgeable staff and compassionate physicians make this hospital a smart choice for emergencies or to have a wide range of lab or imaging tests completed!"
"Absolutely horrible experiences. Had a an appt for an X-ray in June. The appt was set for over 3 weeks. I was called at 5:25 pm the night before and told to reschedule because they just found out my insurance doesn’t allow the Allentown campus and I need to reschedule for the Quakertown campus. THREE WEEKS AFTER THE FACT. Then I went to my family physician with an upper respiratory infection. Was given antibiotics and cough medicine. 4 days later, I couldn’t breathe. I called my family physician and was told she had no appts and that she was on vacation the next week so contact urgent care . After I told them I couldn’t breathe. Fast forward to this week. I’m waiting on a dermatology appt since the first week in June. I get an email 2 days ago to ‘check in’ for my appt on the 19th (today is the 15th). I did not ‘check in’ as I was busy at work. The next day, I get an email that my appt was cancelled. I called and told them I never cancelled my appt. So I was told I’d have to reschedule since my original appt was already given to someone else. So I wait 3 months for an appt but someone else gets MY APPT IMMEDIATELY. Remember, THEY cancelled my appt, not me. Seems to me you were giving my appt to a friend. How many times does scheduling get to screw up? I’m not sticking around to find out. Absolutely horrible patient care. They’re in it for the money and to hook their friends up. Oh, and I called patient relations and they only give you the option to leave a message, of course. And I’m still waiting for a callback. It’s clear they don’t care about the patient. Wouldn’t go here again, even if I were on my deathbed"
"Used to swear by this hospital and refuse to go anywhere else, but since “covid” staff seems to think everyone is just there for a work note, they don’t listen to your concerns, and assume it’s always covid. It always takes me two visits for them to take my concerns seriously. NOT EVERYTHING IS COVID! Listen to your patients and take the time to look into there concerns"
