"Got here a hour early and still waiting. Ridiculous to be seen. Then when you ask the high school graduate receptionist a question you get the eye roll and the heavy sigh like your bothering her. I'll never come back and don't recommend it to anyone"
"I'm a new patient at UHS. My provider is NP Brittany Johnson, and I couldn't be happier. I'm so pleased in fact, that I have zero interest in seeing an MD. Brittany is professional, patient, and kind. She doesn't just listen. She hears you. She's eager to find the root of the problem and explains what she's thinking, doing, and why. Instead of giving up or passing you off to another Dr. She digs deeper, investigates further, and tries harder. She does all of this with a caring, judgment free attitude. I feel blessed to have her as my provider. Sincerely, Barbara Romans"
"I had a recent procedure performed at this location, in and out in less than 40 minutes. Followed up a week later, no issues. Overall experience was as good as I could have expected. Dr. E and his staff did a good job."
"I have been a patient at Family Practice on Front Street for 25 years. I have always been treated with courtesy and respect. The physicians are all good at their jobs and won't stop until you are satisfied with the answers and the diagnosis. Phone staff is pleasant and courteous and can always make you smile. The practice for all of the Doctors is very busy and can usually fit you in within 24-48 hrs. I am sorry to say it but most of the Doctors in the practice are not taking new patients...but...by all means call and check their availability. You won't be disappointed!"
"The people who work here seemed really unhappy, and many were not wearing masks - one of the most basic possible precautions in a pandemic. If you can go to another location I recommend it. I came here for a lab order walk-in. About half the employees behind the front desk were not wearing masks. The ones at the computers wore them, but the people moving around behind them did not. This included a man who appeared to be some sort of administrator or manager (based on his clothing and office location). He was working in a cubby office in the front desk area - he could have closed his door if he didn't want to wear a mask. Also, the office was not enforcing mask-wearing in the lobby. There were about 5 other patients waiting in the lobby. All had their masks on, except for one man wearing his around his chin. No enforcement for him, unfortunately. I sat as far away from him as I could. My technician had trouble interpreting the order made by my doctor. I had a previous order I'd gotten at another UHS lab, and apparently this previous test didn't show up as "done" in the computer's system. So the technician was confused about whether to do the newer or older order, or both. I confirmed that they should do only the newer order. But it seems like a big problem for their software to not update between labs in the same business? Then they had trouble entering my insurance information into the computer. Eventually, they said that the system did not recognize my insurance, and that I might get a bill, and I should call the business office to resolve the problem if I do get a bill. My insurance is valid and I've never had an issue like this at any other UHS location. The other technician entered into the room and sat down at their desk, not wearing a mask, and not checking behind them to see if there were any patients around. When my tech asked me something and I answered, they became aware of my presence and put on their mask. Aerosols linger, guys... anyone who works in an area with patients regularly coming in and out should have their mask on anyway, or at least look to see if there is a patient in the room. Overall my least favorite UHS location I've been to, out of four total. I will never go back if I can help it. Seems mismanaged - either terrible software for employees to use, insufficient training, or both. Everyone working there seemed unhappy and fed up, which contributed to a tense and vaguely hostile environment. I'm giving two stars out of five because it seems like an administrative and managerial issue rather than the individual personnel. I've seen how a mismanaged business can sap your emotional willpower and reduce your motivation to follow guidelines, problem-solve, and put on a happy face."
