"I am extremely disappointed with my child's experiences at Sullivan. It started with other students bullying my child and the school's faculty refusing to properly handle the situation. Additionally, he lost 4 pairs of glasses before the school year was even over. Unfortunately, things only got worst when my son came home upset because he had been physically disciplined by the assistant principal, who he says gripped him up by his shirt. She described it as "moving him" at a meeting. I repeatedly called the school district and they refused to even discuss the incident, let alone intervene. Once the faculty realized the district's lack of action, things only got worst. He was treated worst by the school's faculty, suspended, and kicked out of graduation for speaking up against them. If you can avoid this horrible school, I would definitely recommend it."
"It's pretty amazing when you have 20+ kids in the school yard running playing and the only big mouth you hear yelling and screaming at the kids is the gym person, I will not call him a teacher because he is worse than the kids. He is the only mouth you hear coming from the school yard is his. Today 3/20 below freezing and he has kids in the school yard, sitting on the ground, running around outside and they've been outside everyday this month. I'll tell you what, they're lucky my child don't go to this school. My issues with Sullivan would be handled in court. They can't even keep an eye on the mentally challenged, the poor boy who was pushed and locked in my yard several years ago. Parents I'd keep an eye on my children, take a ride by when you think it's a cold day, your children will be sitting on the cold ground. Good luck to those children, especially since the flu is killing our children and this place has them outside on the ground."
"I think its a disgrace that the teachers and aids have no control over their students. I live 1 block away and cant sit outside cause the kids scream at the top of their lungs all day long, it seems recess is all day long and no adult supervision. When I went to school we were not aloud to scream as if we were being murdered the whole recess periods. Seems the control has been lost...instead of running all over screaming why don't they pick up all the trash that blows from thew school yard to my street. Some days Ditman st is just littered all along the school no one ever picks it up even tires at times. Schools sure have changed...a disgrace"
"I went here from First Grade to Sixth grade. Except for one teacher I really liked it here. No problems at all."
