"My husband & I scheduled an appt. here for my husband to get a routine check-up and bloodwork. He is currently being seen by a neurologist and functional medicine doctor. She requested my husband gets routine bloodwork done through our insurance at a doctors office to help cut down our costs. She had given us a list of some extra more in depth tests that she would like for him to have done. Dr. Charles Wolfe came into the room like a bull after receiving the list of tests from the nurse. You could feel his irritation right off the bat. Before he even looked at the paperwork my husband had filled out with his top 5 complaints, Dr.Wolfe was telling us how inappropriate our list was from his functional medicine doctor. He consistently used words such as “assume” and “common sense”. Many doctors have issues with functional medicine or holistic preferences because it goes against everything they have been taught. We chose to go that route because it has been the only thing that has helped him so far and we are seeing progress. She gives us the time of day (5 hrs in one sitting as compared to fifteen mins) with no judgment and is determined to find the root cause of the problem. We did not walk into that office saying that we are or aren’t for vaccines or flu shots. We are actually very well balanced in both western and holistic medicine practice. Instead of Dr.Wolfe asking as to why my husband is inquiring about these tests, he belittled us and rattled off a bunch of useless medical information and told us that many ailments are treated exactly the same (which is exactly what is wrong with the medical field today IMO). He had asked my husband if he would like to get a flu shot and after he said no I watched Dr.Wolfe smirk and roll his eyes. My husband has been experiencing some pain for almost two years, & we made Dr.Wolfe aware of this. He asked us if my husband has ever been checked for a hernia, & we said no. Instead of him checking to see if there was in fact a hernia, he ran his fingers along my husbands throat and ran his hands down his legs for about a total of two seconds (????).Not once did he check for a hernia or give us a suggestion as to what to do about it next. I know this is a long in depth review, but I hope it helps future patients that are in need of actual genuine care because you will not find that through Dr.Wolfe and his egotistical ways. When it comes to being a doctor of any kind, you should put your ego aside and do what’s best for the patient regardless of your own personal beliefs. Shame on him, and I hope my letter that has been written to the board of health takes this matter seriously because I will be sure to take great lengths until this situation is recognized."

I have called every day this week just to get the run around. I am unsure if this is staff or the doctor. Either way better management is needed for all!"
