HUM District Music, located in the heart of Columbia Heights in Washington DC, is a specialized music agency founded in 2014 by Celesta Tow. Our team of dedicated instructors offer contemporary voice lessons, as well as instruction in piano, guitar, and music production. Whether you prefer in-person or virtual lessons, we cater to your needs.
At HUM District Music, we value commitment and ask our members to dedicate themselves to regular lessons with us. Our membership model includes all-inclusive benefits such as private lessons, sheet music, performance opportunities, and audition coaching. Each teacher limits their studio to 25 students to ensure personalized attention.
Our academic calendar guides our lesson plans, with regular time slots scheduled via Google Calendar invites. We offer two performance opportunities per year, allowing students to showcase their talents in a supportive environment. Our concerts are described as magical experiences by attendees.
