"What is the definition of a walk in clinic? According to Wikipedia, and it’s a medical facility that accepts patients on a walk-in basis and with no appointment required. I recently had reason to call and ask for an appointment with my PCP located there. After being told there were no appointments until mid January I asked about the walk in clinic. The woman told me that it was open and available as an option. I did get dressed and drove to the office assuming medical care would be available. Once inside, the office staff informed me that there were no times available for the walk in clinic. All appointments for the day were filled. Ok then. What is the purpose of advertising a walk in clinic if you can’t “walk in” and receive medical treatment?. It may be a good idea for Commonwealth Health to google the meaning of a “walk in” clinic and advertise more appropriately for the services they may be providing or stop advertising, for services they are not providing. Very frustrating when you are looking for medical care. Very disappointing, aggravating and unprofessional for a hospital/medical field corporation that large to be advertising a walk in clinic that you can’t walk into. :-("

"My wife has been calling for the past several days about wound care. She has been spoken to by Dr.A 's nurse extremely disrespectfully and quite rudely .constantly interrupting my wife. No concerns about possible infection at all. Her arrogant and narcissistic attitude is a disgusting disgrace. No empathy at all. And after two days calling and asking for a very important call by any doctor, NOTHING. That nurse is a nurse only in title ."

"I have been going to this office for years, my doctor left a couple years ago. I went to their walk in clinic 2 days ago and saw somebody new. I've never been so unimpressed by a doctor in my life. I feel that he did not look at my chart before he walked in the door, he was very arrogant in his manner and he was not going to treat my sinus infection because he apparently didn't see anything up my nose or in my throat. I assure you sinus fluid was there. I almost felt it was a wasted trip. I will stick to going when I'm scheduled to go, but not on an emergency basis when I'm very sick. I will go to my local clinic for that, as I get much better service from understanding people"

"I had a great experience at the walk-in clinic in Shavertown this evening. Annie, the receptionist at the front desk, was very polite and friendly. The PA that I saw was patient and knowledgeable. It was a very thorough visit and I feel like all of my needs were addressed."
