"We stopped here on our sailboat to wait out a weather system and were absolutely delighted by our experience! Leroy was there to greet us and catch lines when we arrived, Bill and Patty in the office were more than accommodating when we needed help getting our cat to the vet, and Ricky really saved our bacon when we discovered an issue with our prop right after leaving and needed to come back to get it fixed. We loved playing with the marina cat and driving around on the shared golf cart. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back!"

"Superior service! Can't say enough positive things about our recent stop here in Colonial Beach/Boathouse Marina. Despite being closed (Monday) Bill (owner) and Rick (electrician/mechanic) saw to it we got docked during some hellacious wind, took on our problem with a shore power issue, loaned us a 50a cable until we figured out the problem was our cable wiring, and then quickly effected the repair. Hate to think what we would have gone through at a marina without the wherewithal of Boathouse. And to boot, even in the early days of May before things are in full swing, Colonial Beach is a great town for a stopover."
