Summit Kings Mill

"Summit Kings Mill may be a nice place to live, however the unprofessionalism and lack of respect towards potential residents is a hindrance from ever figuring that out. I’ve contacted this property numerous times for weeks to schedule a tour, only to be told that the unit isn’t available (a discrepancy from their website information being incorrect/outdated). I called the office again today, and was told by an employee that we can come in anytime before closing to tour, and wouldn’t need to make an appointment. After making over an hour long drive, I’m greeted in the office by the manager telling me she cannot give me a tour. With a work schedule that clashes with the office hours, touring opportunities are limited for me, so this truly was a disappointment. As I was explaining what I was told not even a couple of hours ago, her demeanor is as if I was bothering her to do her job. Only saying that she doesn’t know why her employee told me that, and she’s the only one in the office. This would have been understandable albeit still frustrating, if it wasn’t for the overall disorganization, rude tone, attitude, and lack of accountability for her own staff. I wasn’t even offered at the very least a self tour for all of the inconvenience. If your looking to rent here, best of luck to you, because you’ll need it."

"Kristen and the staff here are amazing! It’s a lovely community here and everyone is very friendly (also add more point’s because they are pet friendly!!) As far as getting maintenance done it’s very speedy and efficient. The maintenance man was very friendly to me and my cat! :) The pool is heaven to swim in after a long day at work and they have valet trash service so no more walks to the dumpster (but they do have dumpsters on site just in case). Overall 5/5 stars !! My fiancé and I love it here and so does our cat Spaghettio! (photo below)"

"Ever since the new management has taken over it has been a disaster to live here. The rental office manager Jessica is very rude and unpleasant to work with. Because of the multiple problems I have encountered with her I requested for corporates number in which she refused to give to me. She ignores you when you email her and is never in the office. She is also making the process of my move out difficult as well. She also sends community emails in all caps as if we do not know that is to professionally insult our intelligence. She does not respond to any of the concerns you may have and is very belittling in her tone of voice. Because of these issues I do not wish to reside here ever again. The only saving grace in this apartment complex are the two maintenance men that been here before the new company took over and are still here. I believe both of their names are Donald they are so sweet and kind and anything that needs repairing in your home they come right away. They are masters in their craft and are very polite and respectful to the neighbors here. The maintenance gentlemen are the only ones here who care about the residents here. Update 5/8/23: Jessica called me just now to confronted me negatively via telephone as to why I called corporate and left this review. I have never felt so threatened before for telling the truth on what's going on."

"I have lived here since 2021, and just renewed my lease for the second time. Every interaction I have had with the associates in the leasing office, and with the maintenance department has been great. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I also love that this is a smaller apartment community, it just feels cozy, and it's very well maintained. I love my apartment, and I really appreciate how close this complex is to Central Park, and Downtown Fredericksburg. Keep up the good work!"

"I love how tucked away and private these apartments are. It’s like our own little escape . Love how there is a walking and cycling trail right in the luxury of my back yard! Also , the deer visitors that we get too are a big plus !"
