"Sarah was great. I worked with her for two years right until covid got horrible. She developed a condition requiring her to retire. She had a wonderful understanding and was very helpful with helping me. I often wonder about her but am afraid to know the outcome. I just wanted to say that it wasn’t her fault at the end of our sessions together."

"I worker with Sarah until she retired. I want to follow up with the very poor review above. Sadly Sarah retired right after the time of the above low star review because she had a medical condition which influenced her decision to retire. The condition may have been why she was more disorganized than she once was. I’m saddened to hear the above patient had been having trouble and wasn’t able to get help when they sought it. I hope they did find care and are doing well now."

"Completely unprofessional! Google wouldn’t let me give less than one star or I wouldn’t have given any! We should’ve known leading up to our session that something was wrong but this was our first shot at counseling and she definitely made it a horrible experience. Trying to schedule with Sarah was difficult in itself she wasn’t understanding that we were simply looking for a marriage counselor she kept saying she didn’t do premarital counseling and we reassured her we were already married and we’re seeking counseling to work through some issues. During the scheduling conversation she asked us why we were coming in and we basically had to tell her some pretty personal stuff over the phone which struck me as weird but , like I said we’ve never done this before. Finally we got our appointment and upon arriving she gave us paperwork to fill out but the paperwork was all questions for an individual not a couple, weird but okay. We went back to her office and sat down on a pretty outdated worn in couch and there was crumbs and stuff on the floor ( I’m not as bad as Monica from Friends but It was enough “crumbies” to notice!) She started with why are you here? And at this point I didn’t even remember her name but, never been to counseling so we went with it. Much longer story short she kept asking the same questions as if she wasn’t listening at all and at one point asked what we thought we could do to help the situation. I was like lady we tried all that, that’s why we’re here?! She was ALL OVER THE PLACE. The whole thing felt very disorganized and was pissing me off I looked at my husband and gave him the face like “I don’t like her”. But whatever we finished and scheduled an appointment again. I was skeptical but since we already spent an hour going through stuff with her my husband convinced me to give her another shot. THE NEXT DAY she called and said she wasn’t going to be able to help us!?? First of all we both went way out of our comfort zones going to counseling in the first place and felt very vulnerable confessing our problems to a stranger like any first timers would. We were skeptical about her but realized we couldn’t tell anything from one visit BUT SHE DID??!! She left us feeling embarrassed and ruined the thought of couples counseling for us! I’m soo angry because I believe people should always ask for help and should be met with compassion and understanding. This could have been felt with a number of different ways but it wasn’t and she only caused more stress on our relationship. Avoid Sarah as a counselor!"
