"I’ve gone here numerous times and always have a pretty good visit, except for my visit tonight. I saw a nurse practitioner who was extremely rude and basically told me to “try harder” and force medication into my child’s mouth stating “he’ll eventually have to breathe and swallow”. I just couldn’t believe I wasn’t taken seriously when my child is very ill, it was almost a joke to her. She then decided to walk out after rolling her eyes because I didn’t agree with her “solutions”."
"I brought my 11 month old in Monday evening, around 7:30. The doctors checked her out, without even testing her said she had RSV ( literally diagnosed her off the sound of her cough ) and said she may have asthma, so they sent me home with a nebulizer and told me to use it every four hours which I did do. This morning around 10 o’clock. I called an ambulance for my baby because she was having a difficult time breathing when we got to Childrens hospital in Lawrenceville. We sat in the waiting room for almost 5 hours to find out that my Baby did not have RSV She had Covid. I sent my older kids to the school today thinking that it was RSV that my baby had, both of which children were exposed to my 11 month old so they were exposed to Covid. And I sent them to school so now I’ve exposed the entire school to Covid because this facility couldn’t even so much as test my baby for Covid or RSV Just misdiagnosed her off the sounding of her cough, they also said that her lungs sounded a little bit harsh, whereas Children’s Hospital told me that her lung sounded perfectly clear so my daughter was receiving medication through this nebulizer that she didn’t even need. I’m highly upset and highly disappointed."
"I recommend this place when your children are sick . I made an appointment online and they text you when you have to enter and in the waiting room I only waited like 8 minutes! The nurse & the doctor were really patient with my daughter when she needed the strep test done and as a toddler that was rough ! We were out in less than in an hour. I recommend making an appointment because that way you aren’t in the waiting room with all those germs for so long !"
"Im giving 3 stars strictly because of doctor shuhart. The nurses were phenomenal the wait time was short and we were in and our, my daughter had a double eye infection and ear infection- we were there for 45 minutes tops.! But the doctor was extremely inappropriate my daughter is 9 (just turned 9 a week ago) and ahe expressed her concerns to the dr as to whats wrong and he asked her “so which one of ur boyfriends got u sick?” She looked at him like he had 3 heads naturally and he responded “oh u must not know which one) my daughter left feeling extremely uncomfortable.! This line of questioning to any patient let alone a NINE year old is unacceptable and i will be contacting UPMC to forge a formal complaint"
"My daughter frequents here. Some of the drs are absolutely amazing!! Nurses are always super kind and friendly. One of them even recognizes us and always makes conversation. But there is one dr in particular who doesn’t take patients concerns seriously and gives attitude. It honestly is luck of the draw on who will be there and how your situation will be handled. The wait time is sometimes long, but nothing you wouldn’t expect. Never really bothers me much personally. However my biggest concern is what I walked in the room to in our latest visit. There was a literal PEANUT on the floor!! Luckily my daughter and I both have no allergies, but this was highly concerning to me for those who do have one. Granted this is the only time i’ve noticed something like this. But was very disappointed to see it."
