Reviews
"This place is just another one of UPMC's tax shelters. The staff is incompetent and the facility isn't safe. And do not bring anything of any importance with you. They'll confiscate your belongings and probably lose them. DO NOT go to this place (especially considering what neighborhood it's in—you may not survive the walk home). If you need help or are in crisis, dial 988. There's hope and you can find help. UPMC is just a bloated tick sucking up what little life is left in the city of Pittsburgh."
"If I could review and not leave a star, I absolutely would. Genuinely a horrible experience. Got no help. All I wanted was to talk to someone because I felt unsafe, but after the standard questions, I was told that I don’t have to be admitted so I can sit and calm down or I could leave. How is this helpful? Was there really no one to talk to me in a moment of crisis? The psychiatrist started talking to me while we were in the waiting room, so the receptionist could hear everything, which was incredibly uncomfortable. I also found the psychiatrist to be uncaring, obviously not wanting to be there. That was my experience with the entire staff, minus the nurse, Penny, who offered me a hot meal. I’m not asking for a full blown therapy session, but it would’ve been nice to talk to someone for any length of time rather than be bombarded with questions that did nothing in the end. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone in crisis, especially at night. Truly uncaring staff that did not want to be there."
"This is a wonderful much needed program but Kaitlyn Leo aka Kaitlyn Joyce and Elizabeth Reiter aka Liz Reiter are habitually wrongfully incriminating and wrongfully imprisoning clients for using Resolve services after documentinh they must use resolve i was repeatedly wrongfully jailed for sharing harms these specific individuals Kaitlyn Joyce and Liz Reiter are doing to us clients and I was wrongfully imprisoned for Elizabeth and Kaitlyn harming us with assault and failing to protect daily Liz Reiter and Kaitlyn Leo aka Joyce falsifying my medical records and my accurate medical records causing them stress because they harm us and believe we are appropriately assaulted and I don't find it appropriate and neither do our doctor.., this company seems to be ignoring clients being wrongfully jailed for using this helpful service as this is all done behind Resolve back without resolve knowledge. HELP"
"This Is a very bad group. They r not interested in helping. Do not waste your time with them. They lie about coming as they didnt show up. When they did show they didn't make proper decisions. They r rude and unskilled . They r not professional by any means. What is their agenda anyway? I'm curious . To delay the I'll from getting help. They didn't rightly assess the situation. They r totally oblivious in assessing that someone needs help or want to prevent the help and will leave u frustrated and deeply upset when u r trying with all that u have to help ur person who is mentally ill. I wish they would stop pretending as they do more harm than good. Who do they work for really. ? Time is of the essence and they r putting the mentally ill at risk. No wonder we have so many mentally ill homeless. They r rejected by family and these so called do gooders contribute to our mentally ill crises in this country."
"Personally, had really great experiences calling into their crisis line the times I have, but I know it can be very hit or miss with what staff member you may get at places. The folks I spoke with were very caring, attentive, answered all my questions, were patient and didn't rush me along when I really needed someone. I have yet to go in person, so the star level may change (I hope not) but think I will soon to seek help with local resources. I appreciate the kindness and care I received on the phone."
