"Stay away. Stay away. What a waste of A LOT of money. If you speak to employee Kierra at all, she and among the others on the leasing team are extremely unhelpful, extremely unprofessional. Ghosting us about move in dates once money was acquired by them. Rude, unresponsive. They rent it out as Air BnB, and you pay for those guests utilities, along with strangers charging the teslas under your utility bill. Will rent out amenities to strangers, the same amenities they offer to you as a pro to moving in. Just so much money for a sub par building. Not to mention apartment was not ready for move in date, not even cleaned. Just rude, inadequate, and frankly clownish leasing office. Especially Kierra , good luck. Also the ENTIRE building flooded, and forced out 7 floors of people to move out. So have fun with that if you decide to move in. I didn’t meet one resident who was pleased living here. Building also in a lawsuit for artificially inflating rent. Please keep your eye out for the unprofessional reply. One edit : Jay at the front desk, very nice guy. Wish him well!"
"The problems literally started in month one. I woke up one morning to actual human sewage leaking through my bathroom ceiling. I contacted maintenance and they made an appointment to have it fixed two days later. Not only did they not show up but they never even contacted me to try to reschedule. I went to the leasing office and mentioned that this is a health hazard. A week later some contractors finally came in to fix it. I asked concierge if this had ever happened before and they told me that nothing has really been the same around here since the massive leak that happened in 2022. The following month I put in complaints about my garbage disposal and dishwasher and how dishes were coming out dirtier than when I put them in. They did replace the dishwasher but the problems persisted and I asked them to check if there was an issue with the pipes or something else. They never came so I put a new request in each week and noticed each week the requests were being marked as completed even though no one came. Finally I went to the leasing office to complain and they sent someone to look. I asked why no one was contacting me about all my requests in the maintenance portal and the maintenance guy told me they get "dinged" if requests are in there too long so they've been marking them as completed. Um what? I had 8 requests marked as completed. He did not fix my dishwasher but instead told me that no one else is having this problem so they didn't feel they needed to assess this any further. I took the issue to the leasing office to see if they would let me hire my own contractor but was told the manager, Kevin, would have to decide and he was out of town but would contact me when he returned the following week. I never heard from him and I live alone so I gave up and just started hand-washing my dishes. The following months were riddled with building problems like the elevators breaking down weekly, the air-conditioner in the gym being down for weeks during the summer, all the dogs in the building getting kennel cough from the dog park, bizarre leaks showing up throughout the building. Some I reported, like when the elevators in the middle of the building that should be nowhere near water, started leaking. In November, there was another massive leak that affected several floors and people needed to vacate. The fire department arrived and contractors cut large holes in the drywall throughout the building to let it dry out along with having dehumidifiers on all the floors. I reached out to the leasing office to see if I could get out of my lease early and was told Kevin would have to decide but, of course, he was out of town and would have to get back to me the following week. Despite my numerous voicemails and emails, I never heard from him. I wrote an internal review of my time here at delray tower and was contacted right away telling me that the manager, kevin, definitely wanted to talk to me to make all this right. I responded that this was unlikely considering how hard I had been trying to reach him. Then I did receive an email from him saying he wanted to talk to me but was too busy dealing with everything from the leak and would contact me the following week if I would provide my availability. I gave him my availability and never heard from him. In December there was another maintenance issue and the power was out on the first five floors of the building for the entire day and into the evening. I had started staying with my boyfriend by this point but came home tonight to find that water has leaked through my ceiling, which is starting to fall down and there is water seeping through the bathroom walls. I've lived in apartments around the world for the last twenty years, most were far less expensive, and have never experienced anything this awful."
"Everything about this apartment is great! The amenties are great for teleworking, relaxing, and having intimate gatherings. The location is ideal with plenty of food options and quick access to the highway. The entire team including leasing agents, concierge, and maintenance treat the residents with the utmost care and hospitality. Rodrigo is attentive and resourceful. James and Preston are skilled and helpful. It’s been a great year living here."
"Today has solidified in my heart that Delray Tower is one of the worst places to live. The way I was treated today and generally over the course of my lease is one of the many reasons why I decided not to renew my lease after 1 year. Today my roommate and I were approached by the rude leasing office associate, Kiairah I believe her name is, about a small gathering we were having in one of the community amenities. She informed us that we were receiving noise complaints and that our gathering was above the 4-5 people limit small group allowance that I was never aware of due to having other events in this space with more people and seeing other groups having events above this limit. The leasing associate was nothing but rude, dismissive, and condescending. She proceeded to tell me that we were receiving noise complaints at mid-afternoon which is not quiet hours. However, she then told us how difficult it was to give tours due to us being in the space. I personally would've used seeing a bunch of young people celebrating as a moment to really sell a community but clearly she's not me. However these complaints seem to only occur when Black people are using the space. I have seen other groups use this space with no problem, no complaints, and no harassment from the regularly rude leasing agent. When we started discussing this issue, she attempted to dismiss me by saying verbatim "Before you start, I already know you pay over $3,000 in rent so if you have any issues you can talk to Kevin on Monday." Not only is this dismissive but demeaning in front of my guest. What if there is a potential resident in this group. One issue with the enforcement of this policy, in her manner, beyond the one above, but what if these were residents of the building and we all got together to celebrate? Would we still be restricted to this 4 people limit? I have seen groups much longer in this space often for hours. It was an instant assumption that none of these people lived here because again, they don't look like the target audience for an apartment like this. She mentioned that we could move to the sky lounge but she would have to charge us for using the amenity in our building. So please note, as a resident you cannot use the sky lounge unless you purchase it for $250 an hour and a minimum of 2 hours. They won't release a schedule about it so you better hope its not booked when you want to just enjoy a nice day in your lounge. The leasing office is a culture setter of the building. Since the leasing office is rude, it is reflected in how the residents act. It is not a place that feels homey. Nobody speaks to each other. The leasing agents will walk right past you as if once you give them their commission you are meaningless to them. My father, dressed as a handyman, came to help set up my furniture and the leasing agent ignored him saying a friendly hello in passing. Later she spoke once she saw he was with me the resident which offended him because why wouldn't she speak when he wasn't with a resident? Is it because he looked like a service worker? The world may never know. Next we can chat about the physical environment. The previous time when I used the demonstration kitchen for a gathering, ants covered some of food in less than 5 minutes of putting the food down. We had to move it before the rest of the food was ruined. I've seen bugs all over the building because its simply not cleaned how it should be. The stairwell of roof top wing had crumbled water bottles in it for weeks. The gym equipment and room is not cleaned well. Once there was an acrylic nail that sat next to the smith machine for about 3 weeks (I counted and will look for the picture to upload). Along with the lack of cleaning, recently there was a huge flood which started on the 8th floor and went all the way to the basement. The flood resulted in the canceling of a community event which adds to the list of many cancelled events that this building has rid themselves of. Google limits review characters but I have so many more stories to this nightmare of a building."
"I am a new resident at this complex and I have to say that I have had a phenomenal experience thus far! I am huge on customer service, and often times great customer service goes unnoticed. Through the full duration of my moving process, Kiairah was extremely helpful, supportive, and ensured my moving experience was easy! She treated me as if she was the one moving, instead of myself! Kiairah alongside the ENTIRE leasing team (along with management), went above and beyond to make sure that things were of my liking, that I was comfortable and completely satisfied with my experience. I could go on and on! This by far has been the best moving experience I’ve had! Thank you Del Ray Towers, for such a warm WELCOME HOME!"
