"Very poor customer service. We have had to wait up to an hour to be seen. Today 12-08-23 we were 15 minutes late because we had to wait behind other people checking in. As a result we had to reschedule. Very rude people who told me that was there policy. Would not recommend this place!"
"Absolutely terrible I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I scheduled an appointment witht the doctor here he has 4 different nurse practitioners you will see you won't see the doctor. And the particular nurse I saw did absolutely nothing for me she didn't prescribe me the same medication I've been on for the passed 3 years and her being a licensed nurse should know that I can go into a seizure being cut off of the type of medication I take for my anxiety! Absolutely terrible DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!! Oh and here's the kicker so I refused the meds she was trying to prescribe me and told her I don't want anything from you I'm good and left and yet SHE STILL BILLED MY INSURANCE AND SENT THE MEDICATION TO A PHARMACY I HAVE NEVER USED IN MY LIFE!!!!!"
"Zero stars if I could as well as all the others. Should've trusted the reviews before going. They switch your PA every other month, never once saw the actual Dr in 2 years. Never call in medication when they say they do sending you on chases with your pharmacy and them. They have changed appointments and switched to in person and phone appointments when it is convenient for them but if you request it, its "thier policy" to do the opposite. If you need medication refilled you must have an appointment, when in the past it wasn't that way. They change procedures without telling you or giving you any time to be sure you can prepare. They do not care about children who need medication to perform in school, they would rather get their money for that appoinment instead of providing medication up until said appointment for the child. Appointments take 5 minutes... how is everything? Any changes? Eating? Sleeping? Then you are on your way. Extremely rude and disrespectful- told me I should have made my appointment if I wanted the medication for my kids, but instead I chose to bury my grandmother that day so I guess my kids will have to do without. Highly do not recommend."
"Alepix Behavioral Clinic (N. Huntingdon) staff are not friendly. I called, scheduled, and waited several days for my 1st appointment. I was feeling very sick and this would have been my 1st experience working with this type of doctor. Initially, I received a couple of emails with instructions to fill out several forms (which I believe should be the responsibility of the clinic through verbal intake process). I worked on the forms over several days, completing and submitting most of them, one by one. There was one remaining form which was the longest questionnaire of all. I had been working on it incrementally over a few days as my condition was not great, so this proved to be challenging. The day before the long awaited appointment arrived, I received a call and voicemail to confirm the appointment and I was reminded to complete the forms. I was also warned that if they were not complete, I would be forced to reschedule. This message was not very kind so I reacted out of overall frustration when I returned the call to confirm my appointment. I was then interrupted when I identified myself with the reason for the call by the same stern instructions to complete the intake forms and warning that if not, reschedule. I agreed I would comply, hung up & was really shaken so I decided to cancel and look for another doctor. Just an overall awful experience. Good luck!"
"I would give them zero stars if that was an option. Outside of the secretary who confirms appointments every other individual I spoke with was unfit to call themselves mental health providers. After waiting weeks for an appointment with a psych, I was called by a “just graduated nurse” she identified that way. After asking to speak with someone else she gave me Tina Matthews Hayes, another nurse. Apt. 2 Tina was 45 minutes late calling, rude, stepping all over my words and more concerned with defending her credentials than providing care. She scheduled me with Dr. Whitley when I requested a doctor. Apt. 3 with said Dr. Whitley 50 minutes late I call into the office. Secretary tells me the apt is listed at 2:45, which I can guarantee 3 different ways is incorrect. 1 a post it I wrote it on when Tina scheduled it. Then the calendar I moved it to, then by voicemail when called the day before to confirm it. I can’t speak about Dr. Whitley because I am running from this office before I waste any more time and frustration. However he has other reviews that tell me I am better off else where."
