"My Husband and I moved into the Highline Apartment in 2021. We were provided a good leasing deal and signed for 15 months. Living there was decent. At one point there was issues with mail being left out and not attended to by concierge. The leasing office was not really helpful with situations and several tenants complained of their presence. Fast forward to us moving out June 2023. It has been a NIGHTMARE! When moving out we left the apartment is excellent condition. We asked the leasing office is there anything specific required of us when moving out. They said they will take a look at the apartment at a later time and that we could just drop the keys. I made a 4min long video of the entire apartment for my comfort since they declined to review the apartment prior to handing in the keys. Fast forward to 2 months later, I did not receive my deposit. I contacted the leasing office and was told that I didn't receive my deposit due to "Carpet damage". The leasing agent at the time told me I should have received a move out statement. I never received a move out statement. I immediately asked to speak with the property manager but off course she was not available for weeks. Emails were sent and calls were made but no response. We got fed up and my husband went to the complex and saw the property manager. He explained the situation and showed her the video. She stated that she would need to speak with the maintenance team and get back to him. Off course she never got back to him. I followed up via phone and email. No response. Until one random day I get a call from the property manager. She states that a lot have been going on and she looked into our account and we should not have been charged. She stated that we will be receiving out deposit back in a few weeks. I sent an email to her documenting our conversation but received a response that she is no longer with the company and my deposit was process and will be sent. I received my deposit about 1 week later in Sep. Fast forward to Dec 2023, I received a collection notice from the Highline for the same amount that the carpet damage was. I am currently disputing this case with collections. Another tenet that Referred is going through a similar case. Please note that moving here ended up being a nightmare that I am still fighting. It looks like there was some funny business going on with the leasing office which required corporate to take over. We have been excellent tents and to have to go through this has been stressful. Please document EVERYTHING with this property."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE! I have been living here for almost 2 years and they just fired the old property manager and the building has gone from okay to HORRIBLE! They don't respond to messages they, they increase pet rent , parking parking fees and etc with no notice. They change your locks and don't give you your keys till months later where you're forced to leave your door ------unlock or reach out to the sometimey concierge to lock it. This is on the good days. If you have a problem no one respond they ghost you. They don't respond. My heat went out right after it snowed and my unit was freezing. It's snowed again and the building management did respond or share any updates on when it would be fixed. I purchased spaces heaters with my own money and flipped the cheap circuits and electric. I work from home so it caused major issues. I'm fighting with them to get some sort of compensation or apology for the inconvenience. Not to mention there's no windows in the rooms, no garbage disposals , all of the common spaces you have to pay for. There so many brand new apartments in the area that are way better , please don't stay here... and if you do please don't end extending your lease Per the owners response I have made attempts to call and have gotten no answer or response. I also emailed multiple times but have gotten no response or telephone response. Very interesting I get a response via a Google Review but not a true resolution and response from management. This is proof how they only care about their appearance but not the residents that actually serve. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will but provide photos to this review shortly."
"Living at the Highline has been quite nice. I have been here for about 2 months and have really been able to create a home for myself. Ronda was my leasing agent and was very helpful in getting me all the information I needed to make my housing decision. She even gave me her personal work email and phone number to better assist me."
"Ronda has been an absolute gem throughout my entire apartment hunting process, going above and beyond to assist me with everything from viewing the apartments to navigating the contract details. I cannot speak highly enough of her responsiveness and helpfulness, as she always ensures that my questions are promptly addressed. She's always been super helpful! Even after I moved in, Ronda never fails to greet me with a warm hello and shows genuine interest in how I am doing. It's those little things that make this place feel like a real community. In addition, the packaging system here is also worth mentioning. It is incredibly convenient and user-friendly, making receiving and retrieving packages an absolute breeze. Maintenance requests have also been handled swiftly and efficiently, leaving me with no worries about any issues that may arise."
"I had to move across the country in less than a month, and The Highline Apartments did a wonderful job of helping me through this process. Dyametrius answered/replied to my phone calls and emails in a timely fashion. Rhonda was very helpful on my move-in day. The apartment's atmosphere is very creative, and the location is very convenient. So far, my experience has been positive, and I highly recommend it."
