"When we first moved in things went well. I was able to reach the staff request where completed in a timely fashion. Things have gone down hill and fast you never can reach the office, recently have discovered mice, and maintenance horrible. Someone was supposed to show for extermination that didn't happen but they left a note saying they did. Multiple maintenance request for them to not aknowledge them. I put several request in for a washing machine that I have to pay for that doesn't work. I was able to reach someone the guy came out to fix two previous request but said he didn't see a ticket for my washing machine. I exchanged words with him because he was rude he came back to put my screen up but never returned for anything else. Prior to they sent someone to fix request that I never even put in. I am so over this place and ready to move. For all the money we pay in rent this is ridiculous."
"Horrible no one even came and came up with an excuse like we can not pick days to come when no one even asked them to pick days. We have caught 10 mice in our house that is an infestation. Poor service was on the list for the exterminator and he never even came. Ceiling fan stopped working no one shows up when you sit all day waiting for them to come. My husband works nights and he waited up half the day and no one came. Can’t even get a reserved parking space because they said they ran out of signs really? Why do you offer it if you don’t have it. I love living here but the maintenance is horrible."
"There are mice in my house and I called for pets control but no one came, worse part is they are coming from the neighbors who were extremely dirty and just moved out so now the mice are running on the roof trying to eat their way in. It would be nice if someone comes to help and maybe clean the neighbors house since they have moved and left a whole mess in there I have an infant I can’t live like this!! And I have complained about 4 times about a gas leak, the dishwasher is old and doesn’t drain properly. I’ve only been here for a year and I can truly say am not so happy and wouldn’t recommend this place less it’s your last option, yes it looks beautiful and homey but don’t be fooled"
"TODAY IS JANUARY 2, 2024. I have been without heat since Friday, December 29, 2023, did I call maintenance? Of course, the gentleman called his boss to then get in contact with a "contractor" who was supposed to arrive on Saturday. It is now Tuesday, I am sick along with my 9-month-old as it is cold in our house with only 1 space heater. We do not know where this space heater has been but it is causing us all in my house to feel ill as we are cooped up in my bedroom. Every year I call in around Christmas time about this heater which is pretty ironic that it has not been noted in the system at all. Last year I was pregnant and I believe it was Christmas Day, and the heat blew out. Now, I always keep my heat on 67-69 degrees as I and my family are warm-blooded. So, we aren't blasting the heat at all but it is just so ironic that this happens every year, been here for about 3 years now, and there are no notes in the office system on the matter. All this to say it has been going on 5 days without heat we had 1 day where the water heater went out but the gentleman who came out on Friday came to help assist the next day to restore that issue, which was greatly appreciated. If you plan on moving here please keep in mind that the office staff changes like the seasons, and your maintenance requests may not be acknowledged till days/weeks later, they request rent like clockwork regardless of the issues that haven't been looked at over, you will have to go to the office to get in touch with someone or you will be on hold going through the automatic system for a few hours, parking in the area is unknown as the lanes aren't marked, office staff rude even coming in with good energy, and the area altogether needs some upgrades for the amount they are charging everyone in each unit. Myles in maintenance is fantastic, the only person I can say that I can count on to get the job done. The previous maintenance manager I believe Joe, was amazing as well. Helped me along with Myles all through my pregnancy last year. It's sad because I grew up around here, right across the street actually in the townhomes directly across from The Villages, this used to be a happy place and it was looking up for the better but of course when you have so many changes the office to who owns the company it is a lot that is overlooked. I started a family in this place thinking it was going to get better but over time it has not. Security rolls around just taking pictures and looking...never have I ever seen him go up to check in on the family that has been robbed or had a fire or were unsettled about something. I speak for myself as I was robbed the day I gave birth to my child...you know what they did NOTHING!! No follow-ups without me having to manually do it, no reassurance with a discount on rent, no sympathy, and all I was looking for was consistency. All this to say if you are planning on moving here don't plan on making it a forever home 2-3 years max, the market is horrendous but other programs can help us all out. I tried and I keep getting let down but that won't stop the prices from going up. I know a lot of people here aren't nice, respectful, ideal, understanding, and patient. I have been through all of that and still have not been helped as this issue has been going on for 5 days now, and as a mother, I can't withstand the disrespect anymore. Please be aware and do your research about this place."
"No one has showed up for my request. Since I’ve been here I has three request acknowledged, two were completed, one created and additional problem which lead to the 3rd request and that person walked in and said everyone is having the same issue because the AC systems are old and to just turn my thermostat down to 68. My request to have the broken shower rod replaced or fixed hasn’t been addressed nor has my request to have the rotted hoses leading from the rust ac unit outside to the house been addressed or fixed. Not understanding why I’m being asked to rate something that has never happened. ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THIS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED. UPDATE: They came a repaired most of my concerns and were very pleasant. I’m still missing screens in most of the windows or they are broken but over all this isn’t a bad place to live. It’s very quiet. I haven’t smelled any weed. Thank God. There are no kids running around acting crazy. The bedrooms are a little small so if you’re like me you have to downsize quite a bit. The kitchen needs updating and the paint color to me is a bad choice. It makes the house look dark, dingy and outdated. To me it looks like mustard and it’s very thin the previous color is bleeding through but overall I like the area. I just don’t think they have enough maintenance crew for a development that is this big but they do have one maintenance guy that is lazy as hell. He never worked on my house I just had a conversation with him and he made an excuse for everything I threw his way. He was working on my neighbors house and I was just amazed at how he dealt with issues that he was supposed to be working on and questions that were asked. MOVE IN: Upon moving in I had an awesome rental agent named Ms. Candi. She is/was amazing, very thorough, and knowledgeable. She stayed in contact with me and was very accommodating to my issues upon moving in. She also made sure that the things she noticed were corrected within a week after I moved in. Even after I moved in she was still helping me figure things out. I'm glad I did get her as my agent. If I were just dealing with her I’d probably give this place a 5 star because she made sure things were handled and I thank her very much for her attention to detail and just for being pleasant which is very important to me. She is/was amazing. She also assisted me with moving to a bigger unit on the date of move-in and didn’t complain about changing up the paperwork. Thanks Ms. Candi."
