"my husband speaks mostly with the office & he speaks highly of there customer service, they’re names are Lena and Sara. the apartment is beautiful and an amazing home for me, my husband & my kitties. we home to live here for a while, the neighbors are also very welcoming and positive. we really love it here, our neighbor Angel also works for them and is great, we feel so supported and happy here"
"I’ve lived in several different apartments in the DMV, and in other places in the US; I’ve come to the conclusion that all places come with pros and cons, and that problems are sheerly inevitable, no matter what. The true definition of a business is how they choose to handle the problems, whatever they do pop up. This is where the forest apartments truly excels, and why I hope to remain a resident here (my wife, also) for the foreseeable future. Whether you have a maintenance issue, or even something out of the ordinary, Lena & Sarah, the office managers, are both extremely attentive & personal. Do not only make sure that they figure out a solution, but they follow through, and then follow up after the fact to make sure that everything is going great. The maintenance crew (Angel & Oscar) always treat my apartment with the upmost respect, and I feel very comfortable letting them into my unit even when I’m not home (my wife & I have cats) As for the units themselves, they’re also quite amazing. High ceilings, huge windows, open rooms, pet friendly, dope balcony with a real view, and not your average cookie cutter apartment…. Whenever I describe it to my friends, I actually refer to it as a condominium because this place gives me the feeling of a condominium. Security is also great, we all have a call box & fobs to get in and out so there’s never any unwanted traffic in the building. Everyone is given 2 spaces and if you have more than two cars like myself, there’s a neighborhood across the street within walking distance was more than enough parking, so you’re still covered. Plus, who doesn’t love to burn a few extra calories? 5/5 all around, it’s the BEST here!"
"One thing about this place that I definitely want to applaud the staff for is really making me feel at home. The process for me and pretty sure a lot people is searching, visiting, applying, thinking. It’s really stressful trying to get a home/apartment that feels right. This felt right! The leasing staff wasn’t pushy trying to sale me anything. The maintenance guys were ultra friendly and responsive also, actually listened. I got everything I needed to call this place my first home. Highly recommend, you should at least add this place to look for your next apartment. Thank you Forest apartment leasing office staff and maintenance."
"Please do not live here. After about 3 months of living here, I experienced a few pests ( roaches) then they began to multiply. Especially in the kitchen and bathroom area. About a year in, I experienced the worst thing I could possibly imagine… a MOUSE in my kitchen! I couldn’t believe it. All they did was add sticky traps. Thank God my lease was up. Parking is also terrible as well as the thin ceilings. Only plus to this community is probably the space of the kitchen and living room"
"Horrible management. Stay far away from this complex. When we first moved here it was the least expensive option in the area. After a few months I see why. Since our lease ended, the prices on units went up dramatically and just isn't worth the amount for they are asking for. The unit itself is spacious however there were upkeep issues from the start. The driers would need 2-3 cycles to actually dry your laundry. The live in maintenance team did what they could, but were not qualified enough to complete certain tasks. Going back on the management team they were expectant of you to act accordingly as tenants however were never responsive to us whenever we had concerns about things going on in the unit. Insects and mice were an issue. We are moving out this April and are excited about living in a well ran residential group."
