The Cameron Apartments

"I lived at The Cameron for a little over 3 years. We moved out at the end of last year. The first year was ok but things got progressively worse. When we moved in the carpets were not new and we asked if they could be replaced and they said no. They were matted and very dirty. We had ceiling mold that we reported a maintenance simply sprayed over it. A photo of the ceiling mold was sent as justification of additional move out charges. The lobby smelled like dog pee pretty much every day. The elevators were constantly broken. We were forced to use a 3rd party delivery service that caused issues with getting packages on time. Upon move out the members of staff was rude and moved our belongs out of the service elevator that we reserved."

"You pay for the luxury apartment but they can’t deliver, repeatedly. Telling me Greystar has a building that’s had an elevator down for longer than this building is supposed to make me feel better. Trash management gives non answers to questions."

"I want to give a public thanks and recommendation for Beth and her team at The Cameron. My mother moved to The Cameron in January of 2023. She died unexpectedly in September of 2023 while traveling in the UK. You can imagine how much stress and uncertainty my brother and I were managing -- repatriation, logistics, foreign government procedures, etc., plus the typical memorial arrangements and family affairs -- from long distance, having never been in her new apartment (we live in Oklahoma and Kansas). From the first day we called, to the day we turned over the keys, Beth and her staff were INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond, at every opportunity, to help us with access and arrangements. They genuinely cared about our mother, even though she had only lived there a few months! We were blown away by their concern and compassion. In addition to Beth, I know we worked with Monica and Marvin (and I'm probably forgetting a couple of names). I realize most people won't have to deal with a situation like this, but, if their treatment of our family is indicative of how they treat all their residents, then I can't think of a better building to consider if you're looking for a place in Silver Spring. I recently had the privilege of providing cleaning services a current tenant at The Cameron, and I couldn't help but be impressed by what I discovered. From the moment I stepped into the complex, it was clear that this was more than just another apartment building. Firstly, the cleanliness and maintenance of the common areas were impeccable. It's evident that the management takes great pride in ensuring that the shared spaces are well-kept and inviting. From the lobby to the hallways, everything is spotless and beautifully maintained. As I interacted with the current tenant, I got a glimpse of the sense of community that thrives here. They spoke highly of the friendly neighbors and the various community events organized by the management, which makes you feel like you're part of a big, welcoming family. Now, let's talk about the apartment itself. The unit I had the opportunity to clean was not only spacious but also well-designed. The modern appliances and fixtures were in excellent condition, and the overall layout was functional and comfortable. In conclusion, my experience with The Cameron has left me thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness, sense of community, well-designed apartments, and outstanding management team make it a standout choice for anyone seeking a new place to call home. I can't wait to become a tenant and experience all that this wonderful complex has to offer!"
